Yes the mouse works with Windows 10. For the gaming functions you still need to use the software interface but you can also use macros within games to program buttons.

How is the functionality of the scroll wheel - is it "clicky" or smooth?

This is a high quality ergonomically designed mouse. The buttons are nicely placed and the mouse is adjustable to fit different hand sizes. The mouse scroll wheel is tight and has a solid feel to it. I like this mouse very much overall. There is only one problem I have found, and that is the UIX software seems to conflict with Nvidia Gsync. I have an Asus RoG Swift 27" Gsync gaming monitor and I started noticing mini pauses on the monitor after installing the UIX software. This problem has been reported to Cougar.

Does the software work on Mac? And does the scroll wheel do horizontal?

Sorry, not compatible with Mac as far as I know...looked at requirments and its completely Windows OS

One of the games I play has issues with polling rates higher than 8MS.  Is there a way to change the polling rate on the mouse from 1MS to 8MS with the software?
