Pros: This is the cheapest 500B M.2 SSD I could get, and even though some reviews say it's slow for in comparison with other SSD drives, if come from a regular HDD it's like going from riding a horse to riding a 1000cc Suzuki.
Overall Review: This is definitely a must for any computer, specially for a main drive.

Good Product & price9/4/2020 7:59:55 AM
Pros: It works - Replaced an M.2 SATA in a laptop & "seems" faster to respond.
Cons: None - just the normal replacement process
Overall Review: Might not be as fast as the higher $ items for gaming, but works just fine for this laptop.

Tiny and Powerful5/26/2020 10:06:08 AM
Pros: Easy Installation and Setup
Very Fast NVME
Cons: No Problems
Overall Review: Runs perfectly on my Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro WiFi
Pros: Effortless install and cloning with Acronis downloaded software. Took a few minutes to install and a few minutes to clone. After cloning completed, restarted and entered BIOS. Reset Boot to new NVME, saved and exited. Don't think it could have been any easier. If the prices go down will do it again with a larger NVME.
Cons: No problems encountered. Easy install with Gigabyte motherboard. Really sweet that the motherboard has the heatsinks already on it.
Overall Review: Highly recommend!

Great SSD for OS10/20/2020 12:55:06 PM
Pros: -super fast for the price
-includes a link to a video guide for installation.
Cons: -Not as fast as Samsung Pro or other high-end drives
-the Crucial cloning software wasn't very useful in my opinion
Overall Review: If you want a cheap upgrade to boot windows faster, this is crazy fast compared to booting from an sshd or hdd. I'll probably be upgrading to a faster m.2 when I've got more money though.
I also don't recommend using the cloning software that Crucial provides. It didn't fully work for me, and ended up using Minitool for the process.
Pros: Installed easily
Rock-solid reliability
Easily cloned to run as the boot drive
Includes free Acronis and utility software
Cons: None
Overall Review: You cannot go wrong with this m.2 SSD. Good price, reliable. Works perfectly in my AsRock Gaming 4 x570 motherboard. Highly recommended.
Cons: Installed and Windows said it was only a 27GB drive. Tried to use Crucial's online chat for help and kept getting switched to different agents, never chatted with any particular one long enough to get any help.
Overall Review: Have never had a problem with Crucial products before, but after having such a terrible support experience, I may never buy a Crucial product again.
Manufacturer Response:
Hello,
We thank you for your review and we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused. However, we request you to please, proceed with the complete initialisation of the SSD. Also, please check if all ht a partitions are allocated.
You could also follow the below steps.
Attach the SSD as a secondary drive and load Windows from your existing drive.
In Windows 7 and earlier, open Disk Management by right clicking on Computer and selecting Manage, then Disk Management.
In Windows 8 and later, move the mouse to the lower left corner of your desktop and right-click on the Start icon, then select Disk Management.
When Disk Management opens, a pop-up will appear and prompt you to initialize the SSD.
Select GUID partition table (GPT) and click OK. MBR (Master Boot Record) is best for certain legacy software compatibility, but GPT is better for modern systems and higher capacity storage devices.
Right-click in the area that says Unallocated and select New Simple Volume...
The New Simple Volume Wizard will open, click Next.
Leave the Specify Volume Size as the maximum (default value) and click Next.
Select a Drive Letter and click Next.
In the Format Partition screen, decide on a Volume label (the name you want to give the drive) and click Next.
