ASUS ROG GL752VW I seen that my machine recommends 2400 is the 1700 lower performance compared to the 2400 and will it work is there 2400 in a 16gb x 2 32gb kit for my machine?

First of all you mistyped the number. It's 24000 and 17000. According to Tom's Hardware the number refers to the data transfer rate. (https://goo.gl/wsXzoR) The lower the number the slower the data transfer. There is a lot of engineering that goes into selecting the compatible components. While the 17000 might be cheaper it could perform much less than a machine that is tuned for 17000. So get whatever the manufacturer recommends.
