How easy is it to install this RAM?

You'll want to use Youtube to find a video of your specific model of PC to find out where it is and how to open it. For my HP Spectre, I needed to buy a T6 torx screwdriver, getting the back off was a little tough but it came off, a small cover over the cards was a little difficult likewise, but the actual in and out of the cards was easy.

Any increase in RAM, so long as it is the proper format and speed the motherboard accepts, will increase performance.  Indeed, even a slightly slower 32GB of RAM will outperform a system with only 4GB of RAM.  Windows 11 takes about 8 GB of RAM to run in the first place.

I have installed both RAMS on  my Inspiron 5505, but only one 16 GB memory slot is being recognized. Do i have to do anything else to enable second slot RAM? Are these both dual channel compatible.

Make sure you have the respective sides facing the correct respective directions when slotting the RAM chips in.
