Pros: Heats up and ready to use very quickly on power up. Perfect cup of coffee every cup (no more burnt coffee like my older style coffee maker). Has a compartment for the included "My K Cup".
Cons: Cost of K Cups, shop around. K Cups always come pressurized and will ruin your coffee maker by pushing coffee into the pump when you pierce them by putting the handle down (this is documented by other users). Trick is to puncture the K Cup (on the bottom) with a thumb tack/paper clip and release the pressure prior to inserting into the machine.
Overall Review: I received the Keurig Brand coffee maker for my birthday and fell in love with this style of making coffee. After about a month and half, it got difficult to use, had to always prime it and then de-scale it often. Took it back to Costco, the gal at the return counter said she was on her forth one in 8 months with similar problems, so decided to try the Cuisinart. We've been making 6 to 8 cups daily with no problems for the past 5 months (be sure to pierce the K Cup and release the pressure prior to putting it in, otherwise the pressure will blow some coffee into the pump).
