It's a cable.
Pros: Thick and solid, high quality feel.
Cons: hm... nope, none.
Overall Review: It's a good thick cable, it doesn't feel cheap like most thin cables do. Running three monitors on a single gtx760 which only has 2 dvi ports. I'm using this to run the third monitor, it works. It's a cable, it cables and when it cables, it cables well.
Affordable and Reliable. No issues to date.
Pros: Easy installation, good speed, solid and reliable, good signal. No Issues. Low price.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Low priced and good speed. My router is in a central location so I can't say I've really tested the range on this, but my desktop is in a separate room with a couple walls in the way and I've had zero issues. Signal is strong and reliable with little to no drop offs. I stream movies and transfer very large files and it runs at peak transfer speed for a long time with no issues. I can't comment on the software on the disc because I don't use it. I downloaded the drivers from the website and installed only the drivers through windows. All in all a solid performer. I'm happy with it.
Quiet and Affordable PWM
Pros: Affordable, PWM, Low Profile, Easy install. Super quiet ~700 rpm at low load/idle. Cools well at high load at ~2400 rpm.
Cons: Can be loud at full tilt, but that should be expected with it spinning at ~2400rpm. So not really a con, just a fact. Keep in mind, if you don't have/turn on automatic fan control it will spin constantly at full speed. Pretty much all coolers will do the same.
Overall Review: I've been in the process of changing one of my old systems into an htpc/nas box. I got this to replace a massive 3 pin Zalman cooler that was unbearably loud ( I couldn't find the manual fan controller for it.) I adjusted the settings in the bios for automatic fan control and this thing is super quiet at idle and while watching movies, which is when a silent fan really counts. Temps while watching movies using the cpu/software decoding (gpu decoding turned off to save power/noise) are ~50C which is fine by me. I haven't done much gaming on the system yet, but I did some cpu burning and the temps were steady at ~75C after about 15 min. All in all for $15 I'm very happy with this.
Pros: Low price, Small footprint, Gig ports, Good signal, Stable, Easy setup, Decent speed. So far so good.
Cons: Mac filter issue that others mentioned. (quickly sorted out by customer support, working fine now.)
Overall Review: I needed to upgrade from my old linksys wrt54gl to something with gig ports and better speed. This one fit my needs and budget perfectly. I placed the router in a central location and have no problems getting signal anywhere in a relatively small apartment. My top speed is up around 12MBps. I read the reviews prior to buying and knew of the mac filter issue others were having, so it came as no surprise when I experienced the same issue. I contacted customer support and they quickly got back to me with a beta version of the firmware that fixed the problem right up. The mac filter is working as it should now only allowing the devices listed to connect to the network. Great product and great support. For the price, I have no complaints.
