Pros: The first thing to say is that this is one of the cheapest unlocked phones I've seen. But while it's cheap it does the job almost as well as my wife's Samsung Galaxy 5 for which she paid three time as much.
The display is very clear and the design very elegant. The double tap to put to sleep and wake up is a great feature, as are the touch sensitive buttons at the bottom for return, home and window selection - I prefer them to my wife's Samsung Galaxy 5.
Cons: There only two minor irritants. The speakers sound a little tinny and the camera isn't as good in low light as the Galaxy 5.
Other Thoughts: I have a very cheap pay as you go service provider that costs me only $10 a month - most of the time I'm at home and or the office where I use the WiFi, so a $40/month contract made no sense. However, neither of it's minor deficiencies are of great concern, and aren't worth paying three times the price for an equivalent unlocked phone.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Asus Zenfone 2 Unlocked Smart Phone, 5.5" Silver , 16GB Storage 2GB RAM, US Warranty
Pros: Nice UI. Works flawlessly. The display is excellent, clear and sharp.
Cons: Camera produces images that aren't as smooth as I'd like, but they are quite adequate.
Other Thoughts: My wife has a Samgung Galaxy 5 which she paid $600 for - this phone does as much for 1/3 the price in a very pleasing and elegant package.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: D-Link Xtreme Gigabit Router (DIR-655) Wireless N300, USB SharePort, Gigabit
Pros: This is my second DIR-655. (The first was fried along with several other devices when lightning struck out transformer). I've been very happy with both. I run one desktop (wired), and on the wireless side, two laptops, three printers, a tablet and two internet set top boxes (for Netflix). Connecting wireless devices has been very straightforward with WPS. One of the features on the router I particularly like is being able to open a port to a virtual server. I have a Bitnami Windows web server that I sometimes need to access when I'm away from home and this router enables me to do that.
I'm also very happy with their technical support (increasingly unusual these days)- I'm not a network person so I sometimes need help configuring the router. I've had a very good experience with D-Link's technical support over the years. And today Wendy and Mae (AR0048244) helped me sort out a connection issue after an AT&T outage. Mae asked me to post mention this in my product review which I was happy to do.
