Great case!

CM Storm Enforcer - Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and Water Cooling Support
CM Storm Enforcer - Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0 and Water Cooling Support

Pros: Great case. All the lights on it work. I have not had any issues what so ever. I've had it for about 6 months or so and have had no issues with it. The red LED light in front works just fine. The hard drive and optical drive were easy to install.

Cons: none

Overall Review: I bought this case for the look for my first PC build. I didn't want just a metal box for my computer so I got this case. It looks great and the removable side help with cable management. I only wish it came with an extra fan for the top but I understand it isn't necessary if your not gaming on it.

Most Critical Review

Eh.. they mostly work

Cyber Acoustics Cyber Acoustics CA2016 2-Piece USB Powered Computer Speaker System (Black) CA-2016wb 3 Watts 2.0 USB Amplified Computer Speaker System
Cyber Acoustics Cyber Acoustics CA2016 2-Piece USB Powered Computer Speaker System (Black) CA-2016wb 3 Watts 2.0 USB Amplified Computer Speaker System

Pros: Plug and play is about all you'll get from these speakers. The audio on them is ok but I didn't buy them for anything other than basic sound, which is what I get.

Cons: I bought these speakers because they were cheap and got what I paid for. The headphone jack in the front of the speaks don't work, there is too much interference/static to able to use headphones on them (luckily my case has a headphone jack in the front). The light on the speakers stopped working after a week of using them. The only way that I know they are on is because of the on/off button being pushed in or out. I've tried unplugging them and plugging them back in and it still doesn't work.

Good moniter

ASUS VS Series VS228H-P 22" (21.5" Diagonal) Full HD 1920 x 1080 HDMI VGA DVI-D SPLENDID Video Intelligence Technology Asus Eye Care Flicker-Free Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor

Pros: Great monitor, it works great.

Cons: The stand isn't very steady and my desk isn't exactly not wobbly so I may hit the desk when sitting down or standing up occasionally and the monitor will wobble and I get scared that its going to topple over. If this had a better stand on it I would give it 5 eggs and not 4.

Different and intersting

Windows 8.1 64-bit
Windows 8.1 64-bit

Pros: Its your basic windows with a different look.

Cons: I think this version of windows should only be used on tablets and not on PCs. I bought 8.0 because it was cheaper than 7 and fit within my budget but if I had to go back and get re-order windows I would get 7 instead. I looked at reviews and how to use 8 before I bought it so I knew what I was getting into but the lack of a start button (originally) and the start button that have been added in 8.1 don't do what I want them to do but I can't complain too much cause it does what windows is supposed to do.

Overall Review: If your thinking about getting 8.1 instead of 7 because its newer, don't go with 7. This is not a version of windows that I would like for a PC.

Good MoBo for my first

ASRock 990FX Extreme4 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock 990FX Extreme4 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Great motherboard. I haven't had any issues with it. Built my first PC with it a few months ago and it works great. ASRock also has some great software that you can download from the website as extras.

Cons: The chipset fan was not installed and I had to install it myself, which isn't a big problem but I don't see why you wouldn't want it installed. It was an easy installation.

Overall Review: I haven't had an issues with this motherboard. I had some people ask my why I went with an ASRock instead of another manufacturer but it had the chipset that I liked and was a good price when I bought it so I went with it. No issues with it so far other than having to install the chipset fan.
