Overall Review: Replaced my Core 2 Duo E8400 with this CPU. After reviewing performance vs. price, this is an excellent bang-for-your-buck CPU. Performs everything I've thrown against it admirably. I actually used the Intel 4600 graphics for about a month before I purchased an EVGA Geforce 750TI. Onboard graphics were actually pretty good (though I did notice a marked improvement with the EVGA card) and I didn't notice any performance hit. I'm extremely happy with this CPU. Rig: ASUS H879M motherboard, 8GB DDR3, Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD (boot drive), WD Black 1TB HDD (data drive), Win 8.1 64-bit. 03/11/2019 (update): The system is still going strong with this processor. Except for the periods the system goes into 'sleep' mode, it is powered on 2/7. The changes to the system since the original build: memory upgraded to 24 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR3; the SSD was ungraded to a Samsung 860 Pro (500GB); and the graphics card is about to be upgraded to an MSI RX 570 Armor MK2 8GB OC (actually the third card I have bought after the cooling fans died on the last two cards).

Overall Review: Just assembled a new system using an Intel Core i5-4590 CPU, this motherboard, 8GB of Corsair DDR3 memory, and a Samsung 840 Pro SSD. Put it all together, flipped the power switch and everything just worked. I don't overclock so this H97 motherboard was just what I needed. I'm still adjusting to the UEFI in place of the BIOS I've been used to for 20+ years but it appears to have plenty of settings for those that like to tweak their system (fortunately the manual that came with the motherboard gives a description of the available options). Update on 3/11/2019: This is one great motherboard. have not had any problems with board. Just updated the BIOS to the latest from ASUS which did not go completely smoothly because ASUS had left out a step in the update instructions. Fortunately I'd put the new BIOS file on a thumb drive which I was able to pull and finish the update. I'm thinking of buying a used i7 to replace the original i5 4590 I used for the original build. With luck the system will carry me a few more years.

Overall Review: I got this to replace a Viewsonic that suddenly wouldn't maintain the video connection. Researched quite a number of monitors in this size/price range. I had read good things about Asus monitors and liked the feature set on this commercial series but could find very few owner reviews of it. I decided to take a change and ordered it. I was extremely happy with the purchase, from the packaging (well packed), fast shipping, and a great screen with no deal pixels. Vibrant colors, easy on-screen controls (at least in my opinion!). Included the cable to connect the monitor's USB ports with your computer. I've had this monitor for about 6 months now and couldn't be happier with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Overall Review: This is my 2nd WD Black HDD. The first one I used in a system that I had running nearly constantly for 5 years. Nothing wrong, it still works fine but I decided it was time to build a new system this last year. While I used a SDD for my boot drive (Wow!!!), I didn't hesitate to purchase another WD Black HDD for my data drive. I find them fast and dependable which is what you want in a HDD. I hope the SDD holds up and performs as well over the long term!

Overall Review: I assembled my new build in Sept. 2014, built around an Intel i5 4590 quad core processor, ASUS H97M micro-ATX motherboard. the XFX's cabled proved to be plenty long to reach all areas of my case and were easily routed around the case. The computer has run nearly continuously since September and I have had zero problems with the XFX PSU. Feature rich, quality built by Seasonic, I would have no problems recommending this as a great, affordable 650W PSU.

Pros: Fine mesh, magnetic filter frame. If the area around the vent is metal, this will stick to it.

Cons: None

Overall Review: My environment is pretty dusty. I have a 140mm fan installed on the side of my case and the mesh was constantly grey with accumulated dust which I was having to brush off daily. I found this Silverstone filter and was very impressed. The mesh is very fine, the filter was the exact size I needed to cover the case vent hole. I still have to dust the filter at least once a day but at least it's not dust building up inside the case.

Ordered tube of thermal paste on 26 Feb; still have not received as on 11 March. USPS tracking number entry says they were awaiting delivery of the package. Contacted seller last week and response seemed less than concerned or helpful. Still waiting to see ifnthere's a positive resolution or if if I simply lost my payment.
