Great Monitor

Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24" Full HD 1920 x 1200 60Hz 8ms DisplayPort VGA DVI-D 4xUSB 2.0 Pivot Swivel Height Adjustable LED Backlit IPS Widescreen LCD Monitor
Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24" Full HD 1920 x 1200 60Hz 8ms DisplayPort VGA DVI-D 4xUSB 2.0 Pivot Swivel Height Adjustable LED Backlit IPS Widescreen LCD Monitor

Pros: Everything. Large monitor, and I prefer 16:10 vs 16:9 as I'm used to 1600x1200, and with this I can do 1920x1200. There is nothing about this monitor that I can complain about except that I wish I had 2 more for my desk. :)

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I'll be getting another one shortly.

Most Critical Review

Failed after 6 months

Antec HCP-1300 Platinum 1300W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible
Antec HCP-1300 Platinum 1300W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible

Pros: Extreme power. I currently only need ~700 W, but am in the process of adding more to the system, such as quad SLI, a 2nd optical drive, more storage for an array, and a few more fans or perhaps liquid cooling. This is going to let me do that. In my system, it's actually pretty quite running as well. My system is a bit on the loud side due to the all the fans in it currently, but this is not even close to being that loud.

Cons: Died after 6 months. Granted, my machine ran almost constantly without sleeping since I purchased it. The only time I would turn off my computer is a few nights here and there 1 night at a time. So far, the MTBF for me is ~3900 hours. That's horrible for a PSU. Not sure if I will continue to buy Antec. I guess I'll see in a few months when my wife's HCP-1000 Platinum reaches power on time of 4000 hours.

Overall Review: Antec's support hours suck. 9 am-4:30 pm Pacific. This sucks for anyone that works for a living in the same time zone.

HUGE Case

Rosewill Throne - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX, Up to 8 Fans
Rosewill Throne - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX, Up to 8 Fans

Pros: HUGE case. Will fit just about anything you want to throw into this thing. I love the hard drive dock on the top as I'm the goto computer guy for my family.

Cons: HUGE case, I mean, HUGE. I like the black, but not the red LEDs. I'd prefer blue, but the case is white for the blue LEDs. Too bad you can't get black case and blue LEDs. I have cats, so the intake fans suck in EVERYTHING, and I mean everything. I purchased one of those central heating/cooling systems for the home and cut out the filter part and put it between the case and the fans. Luckily there's enough space between the mounts that it doesn't come in contact with the fan blades or hub.

Overall Review: Get actual fan filters if possible.
