FAST PAD
Pros: *Inexpensive *Very Responsive/Fast Those are a couple of things I was looking for the most. It has a good size footprint, not overly large and not too small. Even if it was larger it wouldn't be a big deal as it really is paper thin. My mouse (g500) just GLIDES across this surface. The adhesive seems to hold onto my desk well and hasn't moved since I positioned it. Can't really ask for it to do much more than it has.
Cons: For what it seems to be, a lightly adhesive backed plastic like rectangle it seems they could get away with giving you a couple for the price and still make a killing. If it turns out to be as durable as some others have said that should be a non issue.
Overall Review: This overall seems to be exactly what I was looking for. Very thin, decent size, fast, and inexpensive. It doesn't hurt that it looks pretty nice as well. I really like that it just sits almost flush with my desk as well. Really pleased with this.
Doesn't get much worse
Pros: Worked at rated speeds for about a year.
Cons: Stopped working shortly after a year. Wouldn't be recognized by any computers randomly one day. Thought this wouldn't be much of a problem due to a "lifetime warranty" though their customer service obviously is terrible as they never got back to me to replace it. Also to even replace it and send it in for rma would likely cost more than it is worth. It shouldn't just up and stop working with basic use and good handling.
Very satisfied
Pros: *Fairly priced for one of the better pastes on the market. *Easy to apply syringe *More than enough for quite a few uses *Dropped my temps by 4-6 degrees across all cores over the stock h100 compound.
Cons: *Absolutely none
What I expected and more!
Pros: *Runs all the games I play well over 60 fps on max settings (1080p 60Hz) *Beautiful card physically, the backplate is a very nice touch especially at the price point on the card *The directcu II cooler helps me idle at 26-30 degrees and with my OC boosting to 1290 core and 7225 memory it hasn't gone over 68 degrees on load (GPU Tweak is easy to use, but mildly buggy still)
Cons: Haven't found any yet.
Overall Review: Only have one of these currently, but plan on adding a second and that should keep me playing games on max with my setup for quite some time.
Love the Layout, but...
Pros: *Different than standard layout *All black cabling (aside from hd audio, still not sure why these don't get the treatment) *Huge Side window (see cons) *3 AF series fans included
Cons: *Could use more dust filters *No grommet on the bottom cable pass-through (largest opening) *The biggest one for me was that my lovely large side panel came with a few scratches on it (oddly enough on the inside, and box showed no signs of damage, so I assume it was during assembly)
Overall Review: Overall I do love this case more than any I have owned. The scratches on the window that is supposed to be there to show off my rig is frustrating enough to take off an egg but no more than one.
XFX dual fan, You had me at silent!
Pros: Great bang for the buck here with the $20 dollar rebate and a the free game doesn't hurt either, though they forgot to send my game dl card but are shipping that next week. Card runs about the same temp as my old 4850 38-39c on idle 51c is the highest I have hit during gaming and that is with an immediate o.c. to black edition clocks. I was scared my fans weren't working at first as I couldn't even hear them over any of my system fans until I moved the fan up to 60+% Install was easy as expected and drivers from XFX which I would always recommend using worked flawlessly as they should. Obviously the lifetime warranty is a nice plus so definitely get on there and register it if you get a card from them, if not I believe I read it still has a 2 year warranty. Runs the games I play at max settings with the same or better frames as my old card which is what I was looking for so I can't complain.
Cons: None for the card atm, will amend if something comes up in the future but I seem to have got exactly what I was looking for.
Overall Review: As I touched on before I didn't get my shogun game card with my shipment but online live support took care of it swiftly and it will be shipping next week. Also as a side note the newegg general 3 day shipping is almost always 4 or more days for me but what can ya do lol. Shipping was free on this item so it wasn't a big deal also in the past they have refunded my shipping when missing the promised time so that is a plus for newegg in my book as it isn't even really on them for not getting it here on time. Can't wait to see this card in xfire! Everything I have seen says they do very very well. I am waiting for the new amd chips to hit as my asus board has a am3+ bios upgrade which should make it a pretty nice system when those come out, not that I'm complaining now.
