Installed & Overclocked
Pros: -Overclocked to 3.7Ghz using the XMP 2.0, Paired with 32Gbz G,skill 2800DDR4 - with 1 button.
Cons: - None
Overall Review: - I paired with a GTX 980 TI and haven't looked back! 500FPS in CSGO Max Settings while streaming Full HD....
Buggy but finnaly works
Pros: It works after several re-formats...quite good actually. boot times are quicker, and games load faster, don't even notice it was a hassle to install once you install correctly.
Cons: Its EXTREMELY FAIL if you don't plug this into the correct SATA port. Place into the second slot after your big TB hard drive...i tested it with my raptor and it blue screened constantly had to re-install windows about 8 times where i said screw it I'm just going to install it on my TB Cadaviar black and now its running flawless.
Overall Review: Games load 5x faster especially when it comes to BF3 or CS:GO...boot times have also sped up dramatically...im loving it now, but at the start i almost trashed it for bieng so unstable with my raptor and multiple drives for dual boots.
Great stick of memory
Pros: Super fast, very pretty
Cons: Expensive
Overall Review: My system couldn't push it to its full xmp 8400mhz profile but I could get it to its next at 8k no issues. Paired it with a 9800X3D on a Msi x870e carbon motherboard. Upgrading from a I7-6950x this system should be game proof for another decade, hopefully. 🤞
Better than expected
Pros: -First Impression with nice packaging -Easy Install -It keeps my Intel i7-6950X cool, and I mean real cool.... -Looks Awesome in my case
Cons: -none so far
Overall Review: I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to keep a monster CPU under tjmax. I had a 2 bay water cooler before and I had some difficulties keeping the temps under 100C when I was overclocked to only 3.7Ghz. I had attempted multiple re-seating and nothing would help. Now I'm at 4Ghz idling at 45C and reaching 60C at load which is above my expectations. Also case looks really cool doing it. Great Product Corsair, I hope they keep up the good work.
A New Standard
Pros: Pimpin
Cons: It ain't easy
Overall Review: I'm upgrading from a EVGA GTX 285 and boy it was well overdue, this card for 150$ range i was afraid I would lose frames in exchange for dx12 and quality. This wasn't the case, I gained about 10FPS all around in games and a MASSIVE increase in stability and smoothness in comparison to my 285, no jitter or skipping. I was astonished that something at this price point could do what its doing, I plan to buy another one in a month to xfire. This was perfect upgrade for my old school PC and the perfect start to building my new Mini ITX build. Intel QX6700 OC @ 3.2Ghz Gigabyte P45 -UD3P Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR2 1066Mhz 1x Asus R7 370 Kingwin 860w Platinum PSU
Major Upgrade
Pros: This thing has EVERYTHING!! the biggest pro for me was the free asus.comm.com DNNS feature they give you for FREE!(no need to pay for domain name service) I run a home server and instead of typing my ip address they gave you a free option to assign a domain name as "whatever".asuscomm.com
Cons: The web GUI is a bit finicky, but after updating to the current firmware it fixed it..but was difficult to update at first due to the web gui not loading upon first click, you needed to continually refresh the page for it to load correctly...
Overall Review: The speed being ridiculous, the range being ridiculous, and the features being ridiculous. Ive come to the conclusion after upgrading from my EA2700 that this device is just ridiculous. don't be cheap on routers, i made the mistake once before and regretted it since
