Nice!
Pros: Does everything I need and gave me new stuff to tinker with. Software seems well written and easy to use. Wizards are nice for newbies.
Cons: It don't make toast or cleans the house. But it does everything a typical home/small business owner needs for data storage. I can see why IT people rag on this system, but for the typical home user. So far no complaints.
Overall Review: Wish they included a paper manual. reading a PDF is not a fun way to install and learn how to use this system when you only have a single monitor. A note in the box says it's their way of saving trees and staying green. We all know it's only done to save money.
100% failure.
Pros: I'm getting to know my delivery driver since i RMA so many of these drives. Seriously, NO PROS what so ever.
Cons: ordered 2 drives, 1 DOA, other failed SMART test and stopped responding. both get a nice trip back across the country on my dime for a refund, Will not order any more drives online.
Overall Review: Listen people, go to a local store and buy hard drives. IF they fail you can drive back and exchange it same day. You might pay a little more but with the failure rates of the online drives you will end up paying the same and waiting weeks to get a RMA. WD keeps posting same dribble at the end of each negative review. This shows they know there is an issue. So now, without further waiting... I present to you the WD excuse for their poor quality testing .....
nice mouse
Pros: Nice feel, rugged construction. works on 99% of surfaces I've tried. Won't leave home without it.
Cons: Hummmm, none really... Battery last a few months. b
Overall Review: after my first 4000 got a sticky center wheel (it was 3-4 years old and used and abused) I need a new one. Actually it was the rubber on the wheel that cracked, causing a bump when scrolling. It was annoying, but mouse worked worked perfectly I can tell you these mouses are rugged! totally happy. Works well on 99% of surfaces. Only exception was a clear glass table, but i expected that.
not bad for older referb.
Pros: Cheap, clean for a used laptop. For the price this is not a bad laptop as long as you know it's an old model. I got it to have around the house to surf the internet and take on trips to check e-mail and such. Since it's an old laptop if it's stolen or dropped I won't be terribly upset. Probably can upgrade it to the newest OS but that's ok for me. Just remember this is not the latest and greatest model on the market.
Cons: You get what you pay for. Windows XP (but probably won't run anything newer). Battery has sticker that says "servicable" which mean it will probably won't hold a charge like a new one. NOT widescreen (as is more laptops these days).
Overall Review: Packaging makes me a little weary when you get photocopied instruction sheets. I got to keep saying to myself that it only cost me 225$. Time will tell if I'm happy with this laptop. If you travel or a student who don't need latest fancy gagets then this is a good buy. As I said, if It's lost or stolen, no big loss...
Works fine with ATT iPhone 3 and 4
Pros: low price, quick Newegg shipping (as always!).
Cons: When plugged into a outlet a white light comes on indicating that it's getting power. Not really a problem for me since my outlet if hidden but the light could be a little distracting if driving at night and you got it plugged into an outlet within eye sight. Not really a con but just wanted to note this quirk.
Overall Review: tested the charger with ATT iPhone 3 and 4 and works perfectly. Also connected sync cable to USB port on charger and it also worked fine. Would buy again is I needed another one.
Works
Pros: Cheap, works with iPhone4. half the cost of buying locally in a store... I would buy another one if i needed it.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Length is 3 feet but wish they made one longer. I tested it with my ATT iPhone 4 with both charging and syncing and it worked fine. Also worked with my Otter Box case, connected with no problems.
