Solid Board

Intel BOXDP965LTCK LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel BOXDP965LTCK LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Great board with the ability to run dual monitors, if you get into that. Has plenty of space for add ons.

Cons: The only thing is don't buy the memory New Egg suggest. You need 1.8v memory. I looked at the essnentials New Egg had at the bottom of the page and seen the Corsair special and just grabbed it without looking and it won't work with this board. Got to run 1.8v with it.

Charging Problems

ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T 1GB DDR3 Memory 10.1" 1280 x 800 Tablet - Blue Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Blue
ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T 1GB DDR3 Memory 10.1" 1280 x 800 Tablet - Blue Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Blue

Pros: It is overall, if working, a good tablet. It can lag as it gets older, for sure.

Cons: It has the same problem that most of their tablets have. Google these tablets, any model about charging problems and you will find the same thing. I believe everyone has this problem and in fact, probably why these models are here. They were fixed but by the same charging board inside them. They can stop according to the threads from a few months to a 1 or 2 yrs. This is a problem that has been going on for awhile so Asus knows it. Not sure if I would buy another.

Overall Review: I understand technology passing by and getting better but a product that cost new, $400 - $700 should have a life expectancy of more than a couple years. Then I see where they have sent out refurbished models that turn out to have the same problem. Come on Asus, fix the problem!!

Not Worth It

Roku 3 Digital HD Streaming Media player w/ Headphones Game Remote
Roku 3 Digital HD Streaming Media player w/ Headphones Game Remote

Pros: It's a Roku 3

Cons: It started loosing connection with it's remote almost immediately. Screen would freeze and you had to unplug power and let it establish connection with the remote all over again. I guess there was a reason they were refurbished to start with. They didn't work new and still don't. At least I was smart enough to get a warranty so I get most my money back. Won't cover what I should have done to startt with and that is buy a new one.

So So

TP-LINK TL-WR841ND Wireless N300 Home Router, 300Mbps, IP QoS, WPS Button, 2 detachable antennas
TP-LINK TL-WR841ND Wireless N300 Home Router, 300Mbps, IP QoS, WPS Button, 2 detachable antennas

Pros: It worked when I plugged it up and still does. For the discount I guess it wasn't a bad price but that is it.

Cons: Not much any difference than my older Belkin. I can not tell that it gives a stronger, faster signal or handles any more devices. I spent some more money to still have a wi-fi that still can't reach 50 ft. through a couple walls.

Overall Review: If you don't have a wi-fi it's worth the price, if you think it is going to be any better, it's still a cheap one and that is all you get.

NO GOOD

Acer Aspire - 15.6" - Intel Core i5-3337U - NVIDIA GeForce GT 720M - 6 GB DDR3 - 500GB HDD - Windows 8 - Gaming Laptop (V5-572G-6679 )

Pros: It turned on.

Cons: I owned one of Acer's machines and it was an older model. It was a dual core that wasn't as fast as my Toshiba single. I don't believe Acer uses good combinations of Mother boards and processors. I suggest other brands get looked at before buying one of theirs. The only help they will offer is paid for.

Overall Review: I would buy any brand before an Acer.

Not Bad

Pros: This was only about $10 higher than some of the cheaper ones on sale during Christmas but this had gyro in it which made all the difference. Stable and easy to fly. My 10 yr old has no problems flying it and it does all right outside. Much better inside.

Cons: I guess I wish I could have saved a little more money on it.
