A very fun game!

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Nintendo Wii U
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Nintendo Wii U

Pros: -Graphics are fantastic! Vibrant and colourful. -Audio sounds great. Atmospheric and immersive. -Controls are tight, and plentiful. You have a variety of options for what kind of controller you'd like to play with. (WiiU Pro, WiiU Gamepad, Wiimote + Nunchuck) -Lots of levels that will have you coming back to find items or areas that you previously missed; time trials, etc. -Unique and hilarious boss fights.

Cons: -Loading times. Not a big deal but noticeable - I found myself a little impatient at times when loading up a level.

Overall Review: If you're into old-styled platformers than this game is for you! This is exactly what you'd come to expect from a Donkey Kong Country game, with some modern day updates. The graphics are beautiful, the soundtrack is great, and the gameplay is exactly as you'd expect. A great experience for a gamer of any age whether you've played the previous titles or not. Overall a great title to have in your WiiU game collection.

Not for 17" laptops!

Cooler Master NotePal X-Slim - Ultra Slim Laptop Cooling Pad with 160 mm Fan
Cooler Master NotePal X-Slim - Ultra Slim Laptop Cooling Pad with 160 mm Fan

Pros: -Cheaply priced. -Provides a nice air gap for your laptop to breathe. -While not powerful, the fan does work and circulates the air a little bit.

Cons: -Advertised as supporting 17" laptops, but comes nowhere close to this claim. -While expected for the price, build quality seems low. The plastic feels cheap and brittle. -The USB plug has a passthrough on it with questionable use, since the fan is already drawing power from that particular port. Because of this passthrough the cord for the USB plug comes out of the side instead of the back and can block additional ports on your laptop.

Overall Review: If you're buying this for a 17" laptop - don't. Find a larger pad. This barely comfortably fits my 15.6" laptop, which still overhangs the pad slightly. My 17" laptop grossly hangs over the edges of this pad, and the pad isn't even large enough to catch the rubber feet on the underside of the laptop making it unusable. The passthrough on the plug may seem like a neat feature but is ultimately more of a hindrance than a convenience; unless you're using USB devices that use a separate power supply and don't draw power from the port. The cable for the plug comes out of the side of the plug and will block access to the port adjacent to it. A minor irritation, but an irritation nonetheless.

Intel 7260HMW IEEE 802.11AC, dual-band, 2x2 Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth 4.0 Mini PCI Express combo Adapter - 867 Mbps+300Mbps - Internal
Intel 7260HMW IEEE 802.11AC, dual-band, 2x2 Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth 4.0 Mini PCI Express combo Adapter - 867 Mbps+300Mbps - Internal

Pros: -Inexpensive part. -802.11AC support. -Bluetooth combo card.

Cons: -This adapter frequently drops connection with my router. Driver updates have not resolved the issue. This occurs on both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands.

Overall Review: I have purchased a different router to see if the problem with disconnects has to do with the current router and adapter not playing nicely together. All other adapters on the network are stable, though, only the Intel adapter is acting up.

Team Xtreem 64GB microSDXC Flash Card With Card Reader Model TUSDX64GUHS05
Team Xtreem 64GB microSDXC Flash Card With Card Reader Model TUSDX64GUHS05

Pros: -High capacity. -Reasonable price. -Addition of compact USB card reader was nice. -Lifetime warranty

Cons: -While writes were slightly higher than advertised (12-14MB/s), reads were averaging around ~20MB/s with the provided adapter.

Overall Review: It's a micro SDXC card, and it works within the parameters outlined in the product description. There's not really much more you can say about it.

Pleasantly surprising!

Pixxo HS-22 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Dynamic Stereo Headphone with Microphone
Pixxo HS-22 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Dynamic Stereo Headphone with Microphone

Pros: The headphone sound quality is surprisingly good for such a cheap headset! Having paid only 6$ for this product I wasn't expecting a whole lot but I have been pleasantly surprised. They are small, light weight, very comfortable and built well enough. Great piece for the price!

Cons: While the wire looks well coated and sturdy enough, it is a little thin. It shouldn't be a problem if you're careful with them. The microphone isn't the best I've heard, and it is an in-line microphone. It's not THAT bad, but it does have its flaws. Being an in-line mic it is slightly far from the face but that isn't a big problem with a +10~20db mic boost. Make sure you're wearing it correctly with the right earpiece going behind the head, this will bring the mic up a little closer to the face. The microphone also sounds slightly muffled, but still very understandable so it's not an issue for Skype/Vent/VoiP and so on.

Overall Review: To the other reviewer wondering about the length of the right earpiece wire; It was designed that way. The right earpiece is designed loop around the back of your head and then fit on your ear. Doing this will also bring the microphone closer to your mouth.
