Great modem!
Pros: Extremely easy set up. The "hard" part was getting through to T/W tech with the MAC ID, and that isn't difficult. The 6121 increased my download speed significantly! It also increased my upload speed, but not by as much.
Cons: No cons that I've seen so far.
Overall Review: When the Techie had me on the line checking things out he made the comment, "WOW! That's a nice modem.". After doing a Roadrunner speed test I understood fully.
3 out of 3 are DOA!
Pros: They ship back quite easily and are lightweight. They look great in bubbles and static wrap.
Cons: 3 DOA right out of the static wrap, that's enough of a con. I called WD to further check the HDs and yup, they're dead. The tech suggested they could send me refurbished HDs as a replacement. Good con... buy new, but receive someone elses problems from WD. I bought new and want new... and working. It's not too much to ask. I can't tell you how much time I have in this, I'm extremely frustrated and quite ticked off.
Overall Review: Newegg is good about RMAing the dead drives, the problem here is all WD. They are making junk, then want to replace their defective hardware with used. I have 3 replacements coming in eventually. If they're dead also, I'll be back to heap more abuse on the guilty... Western Digital. I feel sorry for Newegg. They're innocent in this and doing what they can. It's unfortunate that they have little support from Western Digital.
