Dell Monitor
Pros: The screen is bright Out of the box settings look really good Breathing white power button when on sleep
Cons: No swivel
Overall Review: This is a great monitor for the money. I bought it as a gift for someone who was on a 4:3 1280x1024 monitor and it was like a box. This monitor in comparison is ridiculously wide. I was surprised how good the screen looked on stock settings.
BUFFALO WHR-300HP2D Router
Pros: Fast wireless speed Can handle many connections well Does very well without any QoS set up No annoying lights Small size Easy to set up without CD DD-WRT Pre-Installed with very advanced configuration features Hardly ever has to be restarted Able to print a "Setup Card" from the web interface if you can't remember your wireless password "Run Setup Assistant" button for novice users to help configure on the web configuration page
Cons: No 5GHz network QoS can be difficult to set up than other routers due to the more advanced settings The Firmware Upgrade always has an error so it requires manual flashing DD-WRT has a higher learning curve
Overall Review: My fiancée and I bought this router to replace an older model that was only wireless G speeds which made our Plex server be pretty choppy when playing high definition movies. This router made the choppiness go away due to the N speeds. We choose this due to the software and relatively good reviews. We didn't experience any connection issues as other reviewers have mentioned. We had to manually flash the latest firmware update. If other people have issues I'd recommend going to Buffalo's support site and downloading the latest version. If you plan to buy this I'd use the CD to set it up if you don't have any experience with DD-WRT.
Team Flash Drive
Pros: Fast transfer rate even on USB2 Not very big
Cons: None
Overall Review: It's a flash drive and works very much as expected. Funny in the description it says power saving. It's a flash drive... I don't even know how they thought that would be a thing a consumer cared about.
