Can't beat it
Pros: fast runs cool 108F
Cons: 775 socket makes people think they have an heat issue but the heatsink is not sucured correctly to the motherboard.
Overall Review: those that have heat problems remove the motherboard then install the processor, then make sure the little black pegs go all the way through the spreader. this will solve the heat issue.
Pros: read other thoughts
Cons: read other thoughts
Overall Review: I used my new cooler and the way it sits there's only maybe, 1/4" space from the table to the fans, not allowing much air circulation so I hiked up the rear of the cooler about 3/4" to allow air to circulate, then a 1/2" rubber grommet on top of the cooler then lay my laptop on top of the grommet which is to the rear and centered. It actually cools somewhat but I think they need to lift the back of the cooler to allow more air circulation, in other words.... make the cooler taller. If the cooler is not lifted in the rear it will have no significant cooling, all in all I'm happy with my purchase, thumbs up to Newegg who had this $xx cheaper then others.
easy connection
Pros: nice price, easy connect
Cons: none
Overall Review: installed in Gateway SX2800, you have to install the micro-bracket; running win7. install card then installed driver cd, after installing driver manually restart your computer.
fantastic
Pros: long battery life, easy connect (win7)
Cons: none
Overall Review: feels like a solid piece of equiptment. Windows 7 searched the internet for driver, I have several keyboard like everyone else. I was using Microsoft's 6000 keyboard only, I compute from my sofa, I give high kudo's to the MS 6k but too large for my needs and this is perfect, never had any problems, at first when you pressed the UIOJKLM<> you would get gibberish, you must dis-able the "Num Lock" which took a few minutes to figure out, other then that this is an excellent mini keyboard.
lol @ the high understanding reviews here
Pros: Feels like a solid piece of equipment. Windows 7 searched windows update website for a driver, I've had several Wireless/Bluetooth keyboards like everyone else and I was using Microsoft's 6000 keyboard only prior too this one and I compute from my sofa, I give high kudu’s to the MS 6k but too large for my needs and this is perfect for the couch-potato users as myself and never had any problems with it, at first when you pressed the UIOJKLM<> keys you would get gibberish, you must dis-able the "Num Lock" which took a few minutes to figure out, other then that this is an excellent mini keyboard.
Cons: the buyers of this keyboard prior to myself that consider themselves high understanding, LOL
Overall Review: this kb also connected to my macbook with no problem, just an info-you for you SELFPRO-CLAIMED HIGH UNDERSTANDING people; LOL
My first SATA drive
Pros: Simple install if you can read.
Cons: listening to ppl's problems but they "are" the problem, READ THE DIRECTIONS! It's not plug and play, This is my first SATA and I read how these "experienced" people are having problems and it's just ridiculous. Don't say your experienced and can't even install a hard drive.
Overall Review: I'm running XP PRO, dual core, dual channel, xp did not recognize it at startup, you need to use the disc supplied and it will direct windows where the new drive is and also format it and set it as your primary if thats what you want or as a slave, I use it for my primary drive, Super quiet, super fast, always bought WD drives but BB had this for fifteen bucks cheaper "today" and no hassles returning if I didn't like it but its staying; For Sure. I was surprised on how fast and quiet this drive was compared to my old IDE drive which it's not even in the same league. Boot time on XP Pro is 24 seconds compared to 90 seconds with my old Maxtor 7200rpm 2mb cache. I would recommend this drive to everyone even at neweggs price, BTW Newegg is the nuts, I usually buy all my computer gear from them but just happened to walk into this deal.
