Pros: Side by side to a 50 watt halogen, this LED bulb was brighter! The color is pleasing, the bulb didn't get hot to the touch. Wish i had bought these a month ago. Good value (especially at 6.99 when i got them)

Cons: None really.

Overall Review: two 3 watt bulbs replace two 50 watt halogens, less heat, longer life. what more could you want? If i recall, the packaging actually says the beam angle is 30 degrees, not the 20 shown here in specs. but really, 20, 30... who cares?

Pros: Cut my boot time from 3:16 to 1:15 over the course of 7 or 8 restarts. Doubled my transfer rate from ~50MB/s to ~100MB/s. ASUS UL20FT-B1 is even more snappy and responsive now. Drive is quieter than the 5400rpm that came with the machine.

Cons: Battery life appears to have gone down though i can't actually confirm how much. I'm not surprised, just being realistic that this is a slight drawback. Does vibrate slightly.

Overall Review: I timed a few key moments over the course of several reboots, and there was notable improvement across the board, but it is interesting to see the fluctuations (some things are measurably longer than their previous time, but then make up for it going to the next event, but next boot it seems back to faster). I wonder how much this drive actually would fare against a standard 7200rpm drive in this laptop. Overall I'm happy with the drive as it cut my boot time significantly. I hate waiting for my laptop to boot when at a client. I'm spoiled with my desktop pc being a 180GB Vertex 2. But for mobile, internal storage has finally trumped balls to the wall speed. I do too much to use small ssd with big usb external. Great compromise here. If price were no object, i'd have gotten the 750GB Hybrid.
