Good Deal On A Great Monitor
Pros: This monitor offers a lot more real estate than my old 27" wide screen and the vertical viewing height is the same. The colors and viewing angles are amazing compared to my old 1080p TN panel. I've been able to overclock this monitor to 80Hz using the Nvidia Control Panel and I'm using a GTX 1070 FTW2. I'm a casual gamer and I've not seen any problems with screen tearing or input lag so far. I love the simple toggle control for easy navigation of the monitor settings. This monitor is actually a Commercial grade monitor and offers some extra features. The curvature is very strong coming in at 1900R and I think that is a sweet spot for me. Gaming with this monitor is going to be great.
Cons: The rear inputs are to close to the VESA mount location and I was not able to use my swing arm bracket mount, but the stand is very nice and solid and works very well. I'm sure a smaller mounting bracket should work.
Overall Review: I would recommend this monitor to my friends. I purchased it two weeks ago from Newegg when they had a great sale on it. When I researched this monitor at LG they advertised a 3-year warranty on it but Newegg only says 1-year and I'm not sure why that is.
Good value for price
Pros: Very nice screeen and Alice In Wonderland (1.6GB .wmv file) loaded and looks great on player. Sound is very good with a decent pair of headphones. WiFi works well but don't expect high speed 'n'.
Cons: I've been having some issues with .wma files. My playlists did not sync from WMP as playlists into the unit, only as albums, and I tried creating playlists in the unit itself, but now when I click on the playlist title, nothing happens. I'll be looking into installing something else to handle my music, but maybe .mp3 files won't have this problem. The touchscreen is a bit of a pain, but it's getting easier.
Overall Review: I got this unit to use in my F-150 truck as a music player, because of its large screen and ease of use. I have it mounted on a bracket on the center console and it's easy to see and navigate. The free case I received with the unit is very nice. There is a way to install the Android Market, but the number of apps available is limited. For the very reasonable price, you can't go wrong if you want a very portable Android device.
Looks Solid To Me
Pros: For an ITX board it looks and reviews well. I haven't fired it up yet. I didn't realize how small the ITX platform is. I see that it is now "Unavailable" and I hope that's because it is a hot item. If the item is no longer available, I hope I didn't pay to much for it.
Cons: I was disappointed to not see a USB Type C onboard port.
Overall Review: See Pros and Cons.
One Heck of a Deal
Pros: I couldn't pass up the great deal for this card, $330.00 before $20.00 rebate and it looks like I may have gotten the last one...sorry. I overclocked my sample to Core Clock 1093MHz and Memory Clock 1968MHz without having to change the voltage and ran both the Heaven and Valley benchmarks with the temp never getting over 74C using the onboard default fan speed control...awesome.
Cons: This card does consume a bit of wattage when loaded, but behaves nicely for general use and moderate gaming. I have no coil whine and I'm wondering if having an adequate PSU might help those that have this problem.
Overall Review: I've long been a loyal EVGA supporter, but I just got tired of waiting for the GTX 970 2.0 ACX to be available, so I jumped on this deal because it seemed too good to pass up. I once owned a MSI motherboard and had good luck with that...so I thought why not try one of their GPUs and see how that goes. I'm still waiting for the new 16nm's, but that is probably still two years out and this card should hold me over just fine.
My New ASUS T100 Case
Pros: This case is great. Plenty of space for everything. All the cables I need, the charger, the mouse, portable headphones, extra storage, documents. The construction is very good, and the design seems even better. How can you not like it?
Cons: I think a divider in the primary storage compartment might be beneficial...or maybe even two?
Overall Review: I love this case, The design and construction are top notch. My only concern is that this is a fire sale, so make haste.
This Is A Very Nice Bag
Pros: This bag is well built. The stitching looks good. The design maybe could have used some tweaks, but a reasonable cost makes up for everything.
Cons: None really.
Overall Review: I hope Everki continues to make products like this at these very nice prices.
