The CyberPower AVR CP825AVRG is a compact and easy-to-use uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that delivers surge protection and battery backup for small office workstations, networks and home entertainment systems. It uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to monitor incoming AC power and correct minor power fluctuations, without switching to battery power. The GreenPower UPS technology reduces energy consumption by bypassing the transformer when AC power is stable. A USB port and a Serial port allow easy integration with your computer, and PowerPanel Personal Edition Smart Management software is included to monitor the vitals of the UPS and safely shut down the system in case of a power outage.

This CP825AVRG model has a capacity of 825VA/450Watts, eight NEMA 5-15R outlets (four surge, four surge + battery backup), with four widely-spaced outlets to accommodate transformer-based plugs. Its compact design allows for horizontal or vertical placement, or it can be conveniently mounted on a wall. Protection for phone/network (RJ11/RJ45) and cable/coax (RG-6) are provided via onboard RJ11/RJ45 combo ports and coaxial connectors. This feature-rich UPS system also has EMI/RFI filters, resettable circuit breaker, and user-replaceable battery design, making it a great choice for home and SOHO use.

In event of a power outage, PowerPanel PE saves open files and “hibernates” the PC to increase the run-time on the UPS unit. Diagnostic screens display the status of the UPS, including silent operation mode, configurable system notifications, automatic self tests, adjustable high/low voltage warnings, event/data logging, and scheduled shutdowns.
