Does it work with Belkin Netcam F7D7606 camera ?

The device interfaces with your mydlink account. I've not tried to register another manufacturers camera with my d-link account and the site seems to be propriety so adding another manufacturers camera seems unlikely. Not sure I would take the chance unless I received another manufacturers camera for free to test.

HI, I been trying to find out from your web sites all day and night , but i could not find answers of my questions . And you guys even do not have enough Presentation Video's  that people get learn or understand your product well.

Question :When i look on laptop or my smart TV or I pad , what i will see picture in full screen or limited size of picture  ???

the DNR-202L will record the image with the size that you specify using their web interface - you can choose the size that you want to record.  when you load up the interface, you can view the camera in either a single window or 4-window configuration.  the size of the image frame from the camera depends on how you setup the camera to output it's different streams (D-Link cameras can provide up to 3 different size video images/frame rates).

How many cameras are you able to use with the recorder?

The device can connect to a maximum of 4 cameras. This is done wirelessly. I have my recorder connected directly to my router with a 1TB external hard drive connected via USB. You can connect up to 2 USB external hard drives. The interface works well on my computer and via the App on iPhones or iPads.  This does the job nicely and provides peace of mind while at work or away from home. Hope this helps!

Can this be set up to just capture JPGs for triggering events and then have those accessed remotely? If someone walks into my house when I am traveling, I want to be able to quicky see the image even though I may be on a poor, expensive, data connection, so JPGs would be more useful than video.

The camera video recorder format is video only. You can minimize data by selecting only one of the four channels, selecting the shortest pre-event (0 sec) and post event (5 sec) recording times. On extended trips, I prefer simply allowing constant recording of all 4 channels to a 4 tb drive. If needed, I can scan the data for the specific trigger time.

is this compatiable to foscam camera ?

According to the MFR it's only compatible with D-Link brand cameras listed on their website. With that being said anything you do outside of D-Link such as flashing the software, etc will VOID the manufacturers warranty and you'll have a paperweight.

Personally I think they'd sell more if they were to allow non- D-Link cameras but I'd imagine it would come down to people calling in for support on the device while trying to pair it with other brand cameras than the mfr and it would eat up alot of time.

Maybe we'll see a software writer come out with a "non-buggy" solution that will allow you to reliably flash it in the future for say after the warranty has expired if it even exist.

what is it connected to? the d link camera or the internet router? or is it wireless like most of the other devices?

You connect the device via Ethernet cable to an open port on your network router. Set-up is fairly simple. You can then connect up to 4 wireless cameras along with an external hard drive via USB connection.
Up to 2 external hard drives can be connected. Aside from choosing the right browser and then configuring Java to view the system, I have found this device to be stable and useful. It does what it supposed to do with little, if any additional maintenance.

can you use a nas?

I did not try or look into using network attached storage. My bet is you cannot. During installation, the wizard will re-format the USB connected HHD before it starts functioning. Probably needs a dedicated HHD.

Can you guys list the type usb hard drive that you had success connecting tnis to?

I use a Sandisk 16G thumb drive and a western digital external 250G usb powered drive, no problems with either.

I haven't tried with Mac, but it is browser based, so if you have crome or ie on your mac it should be fine.
