Is this Windows * Compatible??

I am very happy with the hub. My transfers to my backup hard drives is now much faster.

What are the dimensions of the unit?

If you go the item page at Newegg, scroll down a bit and choose the "Specifications" tab, the dimensions are given. I have confirmed that they are correctly stated: It is compact.

How long is the provided USB cable?

It is slightly less than 5 feet: ~58.5" (~149 cm). Worth noting is that it is a proprietary cable, so you won't find a longer replacement just anywhere (I do not know if they exist). I suppose you could you a USB3 extension cable, but I don't think I would use more than 10 feet total cable length to ensure maximum throughput. I have not tested this.

Does it work with Mac OS?

I do not have a Mac to try this hub on, so I am not sure. But, if you check the USB protocols or specifications that your Mac and its current OS will accept against the USB protocols listed on the D-Link web site for this hub and find that any of them match, then there is a good chance that this device will work on a Mac running that OS. If there is no match, then this hub will not work with your Mac.

How many amps does the power supply give? I'm hoping for 3.5a
