Tons of features and power in this X870 (non-E) motherboard Probably the best option in its class. Handles my 9800X3D with no problems.
Although there is no detailed paper manual in the box, the online manual pdf contains good details about all the connections on the board. Additionally, I was able to run my DDR5 6400 Corsair vengeance RGB ram on its 6400MHz speed without any problems. Also running a 7600x without any issues. Build is good, did not find anything missing in the package.
- Excellent build quality. - Lots of latest gen USB ports for all of my peripherals. - Quick release and lock for the main GPU slot is very quick and useful. - 4 M.2 Slots.
Good price for the features Nice looking board Easy installation Lots of headers Diagnostic LEDs
-Supper easy to install RAM and to my case exactly what I ordered
Cool design, white motherboards are normally super expensive and this is a great option for the white builds.
The ease of building computers has come a long way. The motherboard was easy to use, easy to update the bios, and it has all the features I need for a gaming PC.
The latches to install the m.2s were great, easy to install. I love how the heat sink plates look in my white case.
- Absolutely beautiful board. - Very sturdy. - Many quick release locks. - A ton of M.2 slots. - 1st Boot No Issue! - DOCP profile 1 worked on 1st try. - Many high speed USB ports. - Bios update worked without a hitch. - Error code LED on motherboard. - No crashes after 1 week.
Solid motherboard with exceptional build quality. Love the PCIe button release for giant GPUs. Makes getting them out a breeze. USB 4.0
The ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme is hands down one of the most powerful and feature-rich AM5 motherboards on the market. Built for enthusiasts, overclockers, and high-end PC builders, it delivers an uncompromising platform for AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. ⚙ Build Quality & Design ASUS went all out on materials and aesthetics. The board feels premium in every aspectsolid construction, reinforced PCIe slots, and gorgeous RGB integration through the AniMe Matrix display. Its a showpiece for open-case builds. 🚀 Performance & Overclocking Powered by a robust 20+2 teamed power stage VRM setup and massive heatsinks, the X670E Extreme handles overclocking like a champ. Whether youre pushing a Ryzen 9 7950X or a 7800X3D, stability and thermals remain excellent. 🔌 Connectivity & Features This board checks every box: Dual PCIe 5.0 x16 slots Five M.2 slots (including Gen 5 support) Wi-Fi 6E, 10Gb Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.2 USB4 and tons of high-speed rear I/O You also get the ROG Gen-Z.2 add-in card, which adds more M.2 storage flexibility and cooling. Everything is laid out logically and with ease of use in mind.
I built a mini itx system for the living room in the corsair 2000d case. This board was not my first choice because of its price but the first board I bought was the Asrock a620i lightning and it would not post so I had to return it. I bit the bullet and grabbed this asus board and am happy I did. Booted right up, expo worked perfectly with my Gskill ram (30cl 6000mtps). I had heard of people having issues with the wifi on this board but mine is performing excellent. I have gigabit ethernet and am getting 500mbps on wifi from about 30ft away from my router. This board was a little overkill for what I needed but it is a quality board that I have had no issues out of so far.
This motherboard has plenty of connections, including multiple RGB headers if you are into that, and at least 2 M.2 PCI slots, one with a heatsink and one without.
It works and functions, No random blue screens or slow boots for no reason other than memory training. Getting a working motherboard is half battle when it comes to buying a motherboard. The Asus BIOS/UEFI is always a gem and fun to work with. The SP score feature Asus has been using for these last few years is always a fun. SlimSAS slot is useful
It's very easy to install everything into it, and it looks great, has a ton of memory slots, the GPU bracket has a lever that can be used to remove it. RGB lights at the bottom right of it.
- 5 SSD space - No lane sharing with main x16 - Clean look and name
Installed CPU and memory and am up and running with no problems.
Even if I wasn't building a white PC build, I probably would have still bought this board. It's one of the few boards out there to have a PCIe 5.0x16 GPU slot (Slot 1) that doesn't lane share with anything else, so your GPU will always run at max performance at x16! Even the X870E Carbon lane shares with PCIe Slot 1 and M.2_2 and it's more expensive. This was a no brainer. Definitely one of the best motherboards you can get with all of the modern features and is fairly future proof.
- Strong 14+2+1 power delivery, more than enough for any cpu on the market. - Excellent Cooling: Large VRM heatsinks, low vrm temps even under heavy cpu load. - Supports Ryzen 9000 processors and PCIe 5.0 out of the box without requiring bios update. - Plenty of USB ports. - Supports wifi 7.
- Great BIOS, no issues out of the box - Easy to install - Has everything most people will ever need for a reasonable price - Boosts up to 6000mhz memory
