16 gig memory, can't beat this laptop for the price. So much faster than my old one. Also, no junk software preinstalled that you have delete, or are stuck with. My touchpad stopped working, and I had to email customer service, they replied later that night, and told me to hit f9 or function + f9, and I did, and it started working again ! So, no complaints there either. !!

I bought this laptop and my wife got the HP Omnibook Ultra equivalent to this laptop except with a 14" touch screen. Pros of the MSI is the huge beautiful Oled screen. This thing is a beast of a machine that doesn't get too hot. I have not found one thing that I dislike about it. Windows 11 pro with a 3 year warranty. I'm guessing MSI is not expecting issues with this laptop that they have decided to back it for a full 3 years! So glad I took the leap and went for the MSI!

I was not looking for a gaming machine. Just something that I could do everyday work with on Windows 11 pro. This laptop did not disappoint. Battery seems to be at least at 75% or more. Web Cam is fine. Have not tried the USB ports yet. Great bang for the buck.

Good performance Cost-effective solution

This HP Elitebook 840 G6 laptop has the first generation (8xxx series) CPUs that support Windows 11. This replaces an 840 G3 laptop that has an older Intel CPU and cannot run Win 11. It came with a fresh Windows 11 install, ready to setup, a a 65W power supply that plugs into the 'barrel' power connector. The USB-C port has a lightning bolt icon which means it can also be charged there. I was happy to find that the docking station port is compatible with the dock I used for the 840 G3. The 14" creen is excellent (1080 x 1920) and this model included a fingerprint reader . The battery seemed to take a full charge (too early to tell battery life, but that's a good start!)

No issue upgrading the ram to 96GB DDR5 5600 and two 4TB nvme drives.

Awesome specs for price similar computers with worst specs selling 700-1000. Programing scripts with python and computer doesnt even hum. Very happy for this steal/deal,

Our daughter needed a new laptop but couldn't afford one. I recommend Newegg for finding the right item for the right price. For the need our daughter has this laptop is an awesome deal. She loves it. Easy setup and works well for the tasks she needs to do.

Got this mainly for Windows 11 support, and thunderbolt port was a must. The backlit keyboard was also a good selling point. The feature I like that didn't cross my mind before ordering it, is the fingerprint reader. Makes logging in and out so much easier. Great computer and options for the price.

Pros: Light and portable, somewhat smaller frame. Number pad. Adjustable keyboard colors/brightness. Despite being light, it feels durable. Crisp, beautiful screen with great color and contrast. Definitely a highlight.

Screen is tremendous, battery life great, everything worked in arch linux

It has been very reliable and pretty snappy even as an inexpensive laptop
