-worth the upgrade from 5950X Update 2/22/23: -with a PBO of -30 using Ryzen Master core tuner, performance went from about 25% (no OC) to 39% at a Max thermal of 85C (not 95C stock). Used a Noctua U12A cooler.

was a bit scared for the packing especially since it was advertised as CPU only but to my surprise even though it was a mailbox delivery it was very well packed for safety and no damage or scratches anywhere, as for performance it is doing as one would expected from purchased CPU.

I was due for an upgrade and was this ever an upgrade !install was easy in a x570 board, just make sure you have a easy flash board as it would of been a headache an a half to find an old gen ryzen to borrow for the bios update. but with a blank usb stick formated the correct way, file renamed and it was a breeze. for reference i used the msi x570 gaming plus mobo with the m flash usb port and button.

The product is good if your wsnt to buy a budget am5 cpu. For 95$ es good but the cons is that the cpu is pcie 4.0 when all thr cpus of am5 are pcie 5.0 so with future gpus you might have a little of bottle neck the last gpu for pcie 4.0 is the 4090. and the other cons is that dont have integrated graphics. Is a ryzen 7600 but with 10-15% less power and with no gpu include. But ignoring that is a good cpu for 1080p and 1440p. Good in multitasking and more.
