I replaced the T5550 (1.83GHz 2MB cache) in my Gateway 6860FX laptop with this processor and I must say I'm very impressed. The installation was so easy.....unscrewed the processor covering, popped out the T5550 easy, and the T9300 went right in (also added some Arctic thermal grease). Turned on the laptop and she booted right up in 25 seconds with no problems. All my games load and run faster. Frame rates went up by 10-15 in Call of Duty 4, World in Conflict and Flight Simulator X which is a big increase for those games. The latter two are heavily CPU-dependent so the T9300 made a big difference. Runs about the same temperature so far. Overall I highly recommend this processor.
