Great look with ample space and cord management
This review is for NSE-400-KKN2 version - Mid Tower without a Window, no fan LEDs. IF YOU USE AFTERMARKET COOLER MAKE SURE IT WILL FIT!!! !!! Check all your case screws before using them. In my case one screw was visibly fine but just wouldn't go in - the thread was probably slightly off. So if screw doesn't go in without an effort - try the other one. My build: Intel i7-4770 CPU with stock cooler (not overclocked) Asus Z87-Plus motherboard 32 GB of Kingston KHX16C9P1K2/16 RAM (4x8GB) - from Asus compatibility list for this motherboard 2x2TB internal hard drives - WD Caviar Black WD2002FAEX Pioneer BDR-2208 Blu-ray drive (retail, includes software for Blu-ray playback) Asus GTX650TIB-DC2OC-2GD5 GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST graphics card SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W power supply CoolerMaster N400 case (note that all time favorite CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo is VERYTIGHTFIT for this case - about 4mm between the top of the heat sink and side cover. I decided not to use it) Windows 7 x64 Laugh all you want but this was my first time build and and a case was a component I agonized over most of all. This seemed to be perfect for my needs/esthetic preferences and the price was right but it had no reviews at the time. I decided to buy it and I am not sorry I did. It was a bit difficult to screw motherboard to stand-offs near the top of the case but it probably can't be avoided for this case size so I didn't remove any stars for that. Also, motherboard connectors for Power and Reset button are very close together and it was a bit difficult to plug them in. I managed to swap them by mistake and was very upset when computer didn't power on. Then I tried reset - and it worked as power, so I figured out what went wrong. Asus also gives you a separate header to which you can connect all these wires outside the to make it easy - this header can then be plugged into the motherboard. But I didn't notice this part right away plus I am not the one to search for an easy way, I'd rather break my head trying the most difficult one :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Note that all time favorite CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo is VERYTIGHTFIT for this case - about 4mm between the top of the heat sink and side cover. I decided not to use it. For my usage stock cooler turned out to be just fine. CPU temp when idle is about 38 C (room temp 28 C). Case comes with 2 3-wire fans but they are OS/CPU speed-adjustable without having to install any software from your motherboard maker (at least in case of Asus Z87-Plus motherboard and Windows 7 x64). Fans are close to silent when system is idle and fairly quiet when under load. Overall when idle my system is probably as close to silent* as it can be without making any effort *Except hard drive seek noise. This is the loudest noise it makes when idle.
Lots of room to work on components. Good Airflow Lots of room for disk drives
Has USBC - Nice carbon fibre accents - PSU, top and front removeable dust filters - 4 pre installed RGB fans - PSU cover - gpu brackets are removeable by screw not twist off.
Strong robust good looking case Lots of space
- Spacious - Modular Storage Compartments - Pre-Wired Fans w/ Included RGB Controller
Lots of room in the case for air flow and to fit in all components. Easy cable management. Great look when set up. Included fans are a great addition that make it hard to pick a different dual chamber case when on a budget
Plenty of space - 2x 240rad + 1x 280rad open loop, 11 fans, full size atx motherboard, 13900k, rtx4090, 12 hdd... crazy
Big case. I mean big. Dual chamber makes it extra wide but easy to work on as well
I love the build quality and the fact that everything you will need to build is included and directions are easy to follow and the case just looks amazing. This case feels super premium and for such a great price.
Nice FishTank Style budget Case
Looks classy Big and easy to build in Nice to have the option to go basic or flashy
Build is great for the price! (And even beyond to honest) Good flow for most (read review below) Nice look, (not to gamer-y..) Easy to build in (For the most part) Has 2 5.25 bays! (getting rare these days) Good clearance for most parts (CPU coolers, GPU length, ect..) Good dust filtering
-Large! Lots of room -Configuration Options -New hot swap SSD bays are welcome. -Various improvements over base 011 and ROG
Great showcase design Clean looking modern style built in support bracket User manual
feels hella premium for the price
I've tried several similarly priced, similar-looking cases from different manufacturers, and this is among the best. It's free of the caveats often found in this price range. Everything fits together nicely without significant force, screws don't strip easily, and wire management is effective--I'm not cramming wires in where they don't quite fit. Also, it's sturdy and mostly metal: quite a plus if you're moving stuff around.
Looks great Unified f-panel connector Overall easy installation
Beautiful looking case. Plenty of space Easy to hide cables Great air flow and room for plenty of fans Three front face fans pre installed Relatively light weight considering it's size
Spacious! I didnt have any problem with my atx m board. Clean look fans are quiet enough. Have to move built in fans to bottom to put in io cooler.
