This registered as a normal keyboard right out of the box with a driver included in Windows 7. It started "typing" credit card numbers right away and the prefix codes are apparently very standard because they read in filtered into our point of sale software just fine. I asked out staff after a few weeks and they said it has never missed a swipe that they can remember.

Correctly shows up in Windows 7/XP as USB interface device, no custom drivers necessary. Price was much cheaper than when I last bought some of these, a few years back.

Its a simple card reader. Using it for a hotel to swipe CCs. Works as intended, no problems with install. USB plug in, detected and done. Nothing needed configured or setup.
