Quiet Cool Fast
It runs great! There are low temperatures and low fan noise. The 3 x 8-pin-to-16-pin cables never overheated during the stress test. I swapped it with the one that came with my power supply. There's no problem with it either; it looks better when cable-managed.
New in box, state-of-the-art, with online reviews abound. Dealing with NewEgg is, and has been, a great experience. Quick service, competitive pricing, and easy returns if you decide your order is not what you need. NewEgg is my go-to for tech purchases.
-Great performance on all modern releases -Quiet -Decent OC software. Easy to use.
Easy set-up Decent temperature while on huge graphic demand. Game performance is excellent although I use it with 1080p monitor. Had zero bugs or compatibility issues.
Fast Great graphics Pci-e 4.0 x8
Powerhouse GPU, performs similarly to my 4080S. Has 3, 8 pin power connectors. Light weight Stays super cool
Thanks to this 5090, I can finally almost hit 60fps in Crysis!
Benchmark test came in slightly better than what I was expecting. I upgraded from a 4070 Super and have a 50% increase in FPS on 3DMark. Was expecting about 45%. Also, people online said that this card has fan noise when the fans stop, but I do not experience that at all.
Was a big upgrade for me I seen good amount improvements for me with that type of jump
Performance beats the 4070 super
One of the main complaints I see of this card is noise. I have yet to hear the fans engage. Im running every game on max settings 4K.
Excellent mid-range card for budget-minded users. Basically bought it to play casual gaming and to run simple photo and video editing - nothing crazy. The 12gb VRAM helps run the card perfectly fine paired with an i7 14700K / 32gb RAM; games play smoothly with no artifacts/slowdown/issues (mainly Forza Motorsport / Horizon 5, few others). 4k gaming is not a big concern for me at this point - I personally can't tell the difference between 4k and 2k so having a card that can set my hair on fire is not justifiable. Video editing up to 1440p is smooth and doesn't cause local brown-outs; computer temps stay nice and steady across the board.
Super fast, Quiet, powerful
- The price of this card is exactly $299 as of purchase, which is the exact price of MSRP. - You get a card that does everything you could want for 1080p. - Compact: Fits comfortably in an ATX case.
- Taiwanese and built in vietnam, not chinese (little less supply chain/espionage risk) - looks amazing,, performance for the price is unmatched in history - can run the new LLM models locally if you quantize to 8 or 4 bit depending on parameter size.
TUF RTX3090 O24 was first, $2200 scalper price during Trump Covid when you couldn't get .... I was off on building a flight sim. THAT worked out well with AMD R9 5950X, 128GB GSkill, Noctua Air-Cooled. So Gen 5 comes along and upgrade is my game now. ASUS ROG EXTREME X670E, Seagate FireCuda, more GSkill and ASUS Strix RTX4090, new be quiet! case, 360MM Silent Loop and 1500W PSU. Basic system new case, cooler. Made the mistake of accepting an ok EATX vs a Lian Li O11D EVO XL rgb a so much better fit for the board. I have high confidence in the Lord Astral90 O32, but ASUS help an old guy out, I got everything here for a bad ace sim. All I need is that X870E ROG APEX, you know what I mean? I can't give an honest review without that board. Otherwise I'll have to use this old X670E EXTREME which might be fun just for messing around.
As my first ever current gen card bought on launch I love this card!! If you can get your hands on one they are very nice.
- Low power consumption - Runs cool - Insane 4K graphics -Huge, huge upgrade from 3000 series
Subdued RGB Metal backplate Appears to have adequate cooling across the board Coil whine is less noticeable than with my old 7900XTX and RTX 5060 RGB can be controlled with Signal out of the box without MSI's software
