I was upgrading from 6600 to 7900 and it's been pretty good and I've had luck with asrock in the past
Super fast perfomance at all resolutions - 1440p or 4K. Able to run Ultra settings in any game so far (5/2025). Actually runs less power (wattage) for older games capped at 60fps than my old 3090.
Quite Cool No rgb
Great design Sag bracket included Will heat up you house in the winter!

Payed $50 above MSRP. Which I think is fair in this climate. The card is great for 1440 at MAX. Runs pretty smooth and DLSS4 works great. At this price, is a good purchase but I would not spend a dime more than what I paid for.
Runs my games really well. So far Ive been playing rise of tomb raider, modded fallout 4, sniper elite, and the ascent. Runs high fps and hasnt given me any memory issues. Perfect upgrade from my 1650 super for the money.
TUF RTX3090 O24 was first, $2200 scalper price during Trump Covid when you couldn't get .... I was off on building a flight sim. THAT worked out well with AMD R9 5950X, 128GB GSkill, Noctua Air-Cooled. So Gen 5 comes along and upgrade is my game now. ASUS ROG EXTREME X670E, Seagate FireCuda, more GSkill and ASUS Strix RTX4090, new be quiet! case, 360MM Silent Loop and 1500W PSU. Basic system new case, cooler. Made the mistake of accepting an ok EATX vs a Lian Li O11D EVO XL rgb a so much better fit for the board. I have high confidence in the Lord Astral90 O32, but ASUS help an old guy out, I got everything here for a bad ace sim. All I need is that X870E ROG APEX, you know what I mean? I can't give an honest review without that board. Otherwise I'll have to use this old X670E EXTREME which might be fun just for messing around.
It runs great! There are low temperatures and low fan noise. The 3 x 8-pin-to-16-pin cables never overheated during the stress test. I swapped it with the one that came with my power supply. There's no problem with it either; it looks better when cable-managed.
Paid MSRP. Yep thats about all the pro's for this GPU.
Quiet, great temp
Overall, this is the good product. I use it for 3d sculpting, modeling, rendering and it makes me feel good. Better than my former card 4070ti
Great look and performance! Never over 55 degrees!
The card is as advertised power wise, seeing 30-40% increase over my old Rx 7700xt. The installation and drivers was decent. The included anti-sag stand is nice. The Card runs cool under heavy load.
It is much quieter than I expected. I use it for mathematical compute in my home workstation, so I appreciate that it doesn't make the room unbearable (not at all, I hardly notice it).
It's quite lightweight and the materials look high-quality. From what I've tested, the power consumption is lower than with the 3060though I might need to test it more thoroughly. VRAM was one of the reasons I bought it; I do rendering work and I can feel the difference while working. I just made the switch and everything has been going very well.
- Big upgrade over my RX 6600 - Not extremely expensive ($650 USD) - Lots of VRAM - No coil whine
Bought this for my girlfriends budget build, tested it out, was able to run a lot of games still on max settings for 1080p. If you know your gonna stick with 1080p, 8gb model should suffice, otherwise go for the 16gb.
All I love this card
Looks nice, rgb
