This card is a lot better after (2026) recent Nvidia updates than reviewers gave when first released, and they refuse to give it the credit it deserves because they're rocking $4000+ rtx 5090s and think everyone can afford $500+ cards. Reviewers and websites have placed this card behind a rtx 4060 8gb but it's actually faster now, just make sure you're watching the latest non biased reviewers. BTW, I also have a rtx 5080 unless you're gaming with a 4K monitor this rtx 5050 will work great at 1080p.

Cool Quiet No RGB

- SFF (It's mall compared to most cards these days.) - Quiet - Fast (unless you have a 5080+, of course) - No Excessive RGB (just the ZotacGaming and Logo) - Actually available at roughly MSRP

I recommend this graphics card.

So I've been building computers for a lot of years and used a lot of different manufacturers and found things they liked and didn't like. One thing for me is it has to have a good bios. So my build began with the gigabyte Aorus Master. The computer's primarily built to run my flight simulator setup. I had previously an RTX 4090 0 video card thinking that would be the last one but I was wrong. Still found that on some Sims using VR I still couldn't get is crisp of a view as I thought. So went with the gigabyte Aorus RTX 5090. Even though I had a large case, I was hoping I wouldn't have an issue with size and I didn't. I really don't think it's much bigger than the RTX 4090. Card was very easy to set up and with the gigabyte GCC software had no problems overclocking and adjusting fan speeds. What a difference in way the system operates now. The CPU has little load on it and even the RTX 5090 during operation. It's not anywhere nearer getting pushed to its limits. Stays cool even if overclocked and I noticed a huge difference when I'm running VR now. The quality build has always been there by gigabyte in my opinion and that's why I still go back to them. But the GPU from Newegg and they were very generous in my return of the RTX 4090 which helped offset the cost of the RTX 5090. That is why I save everything just in case I'm going to sell it or there's a trade-in available. Newegg always comes through getting me what I need quickly and at a fair price.

Everything plays at Ultra in Dune. Division 2 Conan the games I love are gorgeous.

Great card, runs cool and powerful, I personally like the RGB.

Unboxing the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 was like unlocking a portal to the future of gaming! The sheer power of this card is unreal. Cyberpunk 2077 at max settings? Child's play. It's an investment, yes, but one that'll keep you ahead of the curve for years. Prepare to be blown away.

This card was very easy to install, setup and support with the provided support tower. I also purchased a newer power supply so I would have the right power connector for this power hungry card. Both were easy to install although I did have to change one type of cable because it was different than what my previous power supply used. Back to this graphics card, I wasn't expecting any RGB but to my surprise it does have some blink, not much, but it's subtly there. Now that I've been running my rig with the new card, everything seems to be working just fine. I don't overclock or underclock and I don't get overly focused on temperatures since these devices either work or they don't. I use my PC to play the games I like to play and this card only enhances my gaming pleasure. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again!

Got 99 FPS on Speedway, 25,253 Port Royal, passed Steel Nomad Stress Test. With customized fan curve, can hold temp <= 60 @ 99% utilization, though fan sound is higher. Not hearing any coil whine, all ROPs are there per GPU-Z. I much prefer GPU Tweak III over MSI Afterburner... much easier for me to use and more complete for OC tuning. I think this is one of the best made cards while still being moderate price (relative to what is available). I appreciate Newegg for stock availability, I like the "Shuffle" program and return policy.

- Whisper quiet - Modest power requirements - DLSS is very sharp

-Quiet fans -RGB strip even on a budget card -Good performance for the price

It does all of what i want with no lagging

- Good cooling - Fits nicely in my Full Tower - Good budget option to get into modern gaming
