It took me a while to decide to get this card. My PC already had an RX 6750 XT which performed very well, but didn't live up to what I expected in replacing my RX 5700 XT. This card is wonderfull, at least a minimum 20% increase in frame rate, raised my 3DMARK score by 2500 points. Pairs up very well with my 3700x, no bottleneck on the GPU nor the CPU. I wish this card would have been available when I purchased the 6750 xt last year for $300. For $80 more I could have gotten this one. Good thing is Newegg gave me $190 for the 6750 XT on trade-in, which actually let me having to pay $190 for this card.
for around $300USD you cant beat the price to performance ratio!!
- ray tracing performance - card runs real cool and quiet even in a hot case (nzxt h510 elite) 50c in game , 74-79 mem temp in game - this card is just stupid fast huge upgrade from an already strong gpu this thing crushed anything I threw at it with ease at 1440p - card flys at 3.3 GHz in games lol I didnt OC either, sips about 330-350 wats depending on game/application - undervolt-60 perfectly stable running very cool and quiet no other OC
Installation was simple. Remove the older card, insert newer card, plug in power.
Runs very cool, the fan setup works very well. RGB Logo is a nice touch The Control Center is easy to use Over all, I am pleased to see Gigabyte and AMD making a quality product that works awesome for COD Gaming.
- Great performance - Card runs very cool - Super easy maintenance when needed
- Good looking sleek card - Outperformed my 3070 - Unlocked a ton of display capabilities surprisingly - Quiet out of box - Shockingly light even with the backplate
Fits nicely in a 10L formd t1 mini itx case High quality build Dual bios available with a switch to select "silent" or "performance" 12vhpw warning led, if not pluged in properly, there'll be red warning led light
Bought at MSRP. The prime models seem to come with phase-change GPU thermal pads. This effectively means you will never have to repaste. Although time will tell. Have all ROPs. Running with 9800X3D. Based on benchmarks do not see a need for 5080.
Running an AMD R5/5600G because GPU prices were crazy. Now that the price has come down and availability is improved, I got this for Christmas. I tried to MSFS on my 5600G but had to have all the setting set to minimum. Still choppy but playable. Would not run XPlane 12 at all. WoW would run around 50+ FPS until things got real busy then would drop 10 or more frames. Now, with this RX6600, MSFS and XP12is set to almost the highest settings (not sure if I got them all or not) and is very smooth. Some panning around the cockpit is a little laggy but certainly playable. WoW is set to max and I haven't seen sub-60 FPS once. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. I know it isn't the best card on the market but for a little over $200, it is a marked improvement. As the prices come down, you might want to look at the 6600XT or better but I just didn't think it was worth the extra (almost double) for my purposes. Note: I had to cut the vertical separator between my expansion slots to get this to fit in my case. I have an 12+ year old ATX so that might be the issue but not really sure. Also, there is minimal documentation included and no driver install info. However, just install the latest AMD Adrenaline software and it will include the necessary drivers. I don't think ASRock has any tech support but I also didn't try. I don't mind because I can Google for an answer but some may not be as savvy. Just hope over to AMD's website and install.
- Significant upgrade over my 3070 8gb - Easy install and setup, with support to prevent sag - Stable high frame rates on most demanding games - Runs cool
Pretty fast. Got it the same week. In the future, I will look for Newegg products, shipped by Newegg. That seems to be sweet spot. GPU came out looking fresh. No defects, just a solid product.
I recently purchased a Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 165hz 4K monitor. To get 4k smoothly, AND CHEAPLY, I needed to upgrade my 6700XT. With the XFX Swift 9060XT I can now play any game at 4K. Even at balanced or quality (instead of performance) settings. Starfield, Horizon Forbidden West, and Helldivers 2 are the games I have been playing and they run 60+ FPS at 4K. With FSR, depending on the version, I get up to fifty percent more FPS over my old card. I opted for the triple fan and it is whisper quiet and ice cold. XFX is amazing. I greatly appreciate XFX opting to go with the PTM7950 TIM so I won't have to worry about drying paste or bleeding out. AMD drivers are rock solid. I have read, that in the past, AMD drivers had some troubles. For the past five years of owning AMD video cards I can confidently say I have not had any driver-related problems and the video cards have run without a hiccup. I have watched several 9060xt reviews online along with teardown videos. I think this XFX triple fan card is the best bang for the buck as of this writing.
