Affordability Ray Tracing (beats the NVDIA 5060) More VRAM (16GB is better than 5060 8GB, at same price)
For the money, this thing is hard to beat (if you prefer NVIDIA like I do). I upgraded from a 1070 and the difference is night and day. Its still slightly anemic for RTX settings in games, but youll have no problem getting great frames in pretty much every modern title. Quiet fan, lots of power and VRAM, single power connector so it works with even lower tier desktop builds (just pay attention to bottlenecking from the PSU or CPU in that case)
- Like the design and the rbg lighting. - I like the great performance that it has.
Great performance Runs cool Puts out almost no heat into the case/room Dead quiet Regular 2x8 pin power makes it a drop in upgrade Fits in smaller cases
Works better than my old GPU, Although the only problem I had thus far was with the pc game Shadow of the Tomb Raider but I managed to fix the problem anyways.. No problem here that I have found yet anyways!!
- Good upgrade option from a Radeon RX 580 8GB. - AMD Adrenalin software immediately recognized the new card and configured it. - Booted right into Windows without needing special configuration; however, I did end up running Windows Reset, to refresh to OS, mainly because I also upgraded the CPU to a Ryzen 9 5900 XT. A fresh start is always good. - Good upgrade option for a Gigabyte X570 UD, AM4 socket, motherboard. - Not a power hog. Even though I have a 850w PSU, I was still impressed with the spec requiring only a 450w PSU. I'd still use a bigger PSU than 450, IMHO. ;-) - It substantially improved the quality of plain basic graphics on my Gigabyte GS27QC monitors, over what I had with the XFX Radeon RX 580 8GB GPU. - I get over 100 FPS on No Man's Sky, running a resolution of 2560 x 1440, and all NMS graphics settings at Ultra.
-Card runs cool and quiet, no coil whine even during stress tests -Haven't done much OC yet besides an auto Adrenalin boost, but temps didn't seem to rise much at a 100+ GPU clock boost and also very stable -Aesthetically it might be the best looking GPU unit I've ever seen, but that's just IMO -Hidden power connector is really quite clever and makes my case look so much cleaner -RGB bar is really bright and looks great! Had to turn it down to lowest brightness through Trixx to match my RAM and CPU AIO RGBs, which both are at max brightness -Runs games great at 4K, some older at native, others on FSR Ultra Quality or Quality -FSR 4 and the 9000 series show a lot of promise at getting AMD closer to Nvidia on Ray and Path Tracing without tanking FPS, as this card is at or exceeds the 7900XTX in FPS for both according to tests
Relatively small and lightweight GPU. Very quiet, Cool temperatures and comes with an anti sag GPU holder.
What I like about the RX 6600 is that it doesnt blow out hot air like my old GPU and it runs smoothly and it isnt loud. It runs a constant 144 fps on warzone, Fortnite, Apex, and GTA. I dont like to push my GPU to the max but I am pretty sure it can handle it with no problem at all!
Fits nicely in a 10L formd t1 mini itx case High quality build Dual bios available with a switch to select "silent" or "performance" 12vhpw warning led, if not pluged in properly, there'll be red warning led light
- Nice software and customization options - Great performance - Runs cool and silent - Good value and price compared to similar cards
Runs very cool, quiet, scoring above average in 3d mark vs same hardware.
It works and was retail
It works great.
Stability +++ --> This may not be crucial for others, but for me I was dealing with instant pc shutdowns on my old asrock 6950xt OC Formula. I dropped in the 5070TI and so far it's handled everything I've thrown at it. OCCT power test, Heaven, 3DMark, Cinemabench. All the scores look good. Easy Install - Install and driver installation were a breeze. Performance ++ --> Great performance gains over my old card.
I bought the RTX 5070 and it is a huge upgrade from my 3060. Def worth the price and couldnt find it nowhere else in stock but Newegg. It arrived fast as well.
16 GB of VRAM, high clock speeds, PCIE 5. X16. Driver stability (thank you AMD!) Find them on sale if you can! They do drop from time to time, even if not on sale and you're unsure of AMD getting back in the GPU game, they are definitely regrouped and beginning to charge again.
FPS is great!
Solid Design Quiet Fans No RGB Has RTX Fun Note: Plays Helldivers 2 wonderfully
Its too cold and silent. when I play the fans speed always on 30%.
