Easy set up. No issues. I didn't use the Gen5 SSD at the moment and only use Gen4 SSD's. Hopefully in the near future there will be more options better suited for it to use alongside different manufacturer sales. Yes, it's all about the costs. But it's there when wanted as time goes by.

My motherboard purchase from new egg was very good. The board was new in a sealed box with all parts and worked perfect for my son's new build. I tried purchasing a board from Am-a-zon. What a disaster that was. First time they sent me an opened box, likely used board. Returned. Secured board was DOA and wouldn't turn on. New egg was a way better experience.

I said mid loosely because while it is a mid tier priced board, it is far from mid tier. I came from being an avid Asus fan but had some trouble with their products recently. Decided to switch and found glowing reviews for MSI. First thing I noticed, this thing is well built. Feels great in the hand. The board is visually appealing and the install is a breeze. I love the fan placement and the m.2. It has beefy vrm and it has held a solid OC on my 13900k. Also holds memory stable at 7600 mhz. Very easy to OC by the way. Also it is keeping my components much cooler than my previous Asus board.

Simple setup, worked and updated itself on first power up zero issues thus far. Massive heat sinks everywhere running benchmarks so far everything has been optimal. Nothing over 70c at 100% on processor,board, or video card. Wish I had known before hand they had heat sinks installed on the M.2 sockets for M1 M3 and M4. Wouldnt have had to buy memory with heat sinks. This is more positive than negative hence the pros column.
