I don't understand why it got negative reviews because I found it easy to set up and use. It worked right away and it accepted my Windows 11 install. Bonus, it came with two 16 gb of memory that this board accepts.
Easy set up. No issues. I didn't use the Gen5 SSD at the moment and only use Gen4 SSD's. Hopefully in the near future there will be more options better suited for it to use alongside different manufacturer sales. Yes, it's all about the costs. But it's there when wanted as time goes by.
My motherboard purchase from new egg was very good. The board was new in a sealed box with all parts and worked perfect for my son's new build. I tried purchasing a board from Am-a-zon. What a disaster that was. First time they sent me an opened box, likely used board. Returned. Secured board was DOA and wouldn't turn on. New egg was a way better experience.
Very heavy and solid they use a lot of metal. ATX Board, Supports socket 1851 for my intel core 9 285. Easy latch for m2 sticks, release button for PCI video Card. Debug display for troubleshooting. Z890 Chipset, reinforced pci slot, Wi-Fi 7, 10 GB Lan, dual channel DDR 5 memory with 4 slots. Support for gen 5 m2. PCI 4 and PCI 3 available for expansion. Easy build for me. Best motherboard I have had to date.
Looks nice in my setup and working great
It has a 2.5GB Lan and B760 chipset
I liked the 8 SATA connections so i could just move from my other computer to this one and keep on rocking. Also gives me the option to upgrade to m2 later if i need.
Worked with the core i5 13600k with no BIOs update. I used a LAN line for the setup and it worked flawless. Plenty of connections of all types for fans, peripherals, etc
Easy setup. booted first time no issues.
Simple setup, worked and updated itself on first power up zero issues thus far. Massive heat sinks everywhere running benchmarks so far everything has been optimal. Nothing over 70c at 100% on processor, board, or video card. Wish I had known before hand they had heat sinks installed on the M.2 sockets for M1 M3 and M4. Wouldnt have had to buy memory with heat sinks. This is more positive than negative hence the pros column.
The rgb on the motherboard looks really good the pcie button makes installing larger cards such as the 5090 much easier to do
-Worked well, seems to handle all the motherboarding tasks well -6GHz WIFI is really nice to have, my kids devices can't even see that this network exists, so they don't know I'm hiding a bunch of bandwidth from them.
Cheap Overclocking Support Good Looking
price black multiple m2 slots
Sleek and powerful, definitely worth more than it costs
-beautiful board -plenty of high speed connections (TB5, TB4, 10G LAN, etc)
Well built with quality parts.
This motherboard is easy to configure compared to earlier generations. The bus speeds appear to the fantastic, supporting the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K purchased along side. The newer 1080 bios interface is a welcome upgrade. I am not using it to it's full potential yet as I really purchased it for future proofing my rig.
Plenty of ports and options for any build. Alot of fan plugs and rbg plugs. I love how the pci express is reinforced for the heavy video cards. and the heatsinks are tool less with their own thermal pads. This board is made for cool temps. The led's are nice to. GCC software is excellent with the bios updates and the rgb. Very impressive that they now have GCC. Their software has come a long way from the older style control center.
Plenty of features. Easy to use software. What more could you want in a motherboard?
