Works well, my nephews have yet to be able to destroy it (5 and 7 years old). Have ordered another.

The adjustable controller stick tension is easily the biggest win but the materials feel premium and the dongle worked with no fuss in both Linux and Windows.

Works as it should. On windows, its just plug n play since it reads like a Microsoft Xbox 360 controller.

- Assuming the drivers install correctly, the controller works right out of the box. It's Plug and play.

This controller is great. I am very much surprised it is not as popular as the xbox controller. Any game that works with the xbox 360, for instance, will work with this logitech. Logitech has some nice features. They have some gaming software that is free to download. One is to calibrate the settings on the sticks and pad to fine tune them to your individual thumb movements to perfection. For instance, say your left thumb tends to go upwards when moving it to the left. While calibrating the left control stick, it will make that motion react in the game as if you went straight over, so your game result will be as you wanted, not as your thumbs mismovement would have created on nother type controller. They also have software to make individual profiles for thousands of games. You can set the buttons and sticks to do different things for different games. This way, instead of resetting everything each time you switch games, you simply click on your profile for that game. Someone else use the controller when you are not and prefers different choices than you? They create their own profile for the same game and viola, the controls commands instantly change wen they click on their profile. Ypu can also mess with your friends with a friendly challenge and unbeknownst to them, you created a profile to cause the controller to appear haywire when they go to use it in competition. Of course, this trick will only work once. Unless they are daft. tee hee. They also have unifying software. This makes one usb dongle connect up to six logitech devices. This is more than handy if you do not have the usb ports to spare. I have my wireless keyboard, wireless wheel mouse, and two game controllers while using only one usb port. They work flawlessly and I could connect two more items if I wanted. Two more controllers, or a Printer and any other gadget logitech sells. The best feature, in my opinion is the shape of the controller. I also have a xbox-S game controller and I prefer my logitech big time. The buttons and such are all in the same place, so why? I have better control of the logitech. If you notice the color of the Logitech F-10, you will see they are siler and black. There is an aresa of black on the sides, where the heel of your thumb touches that is made of rubber or a rubber type material for non slip. More importantly, is the shape. It is not noticable by their pics of the F-10, but underneath, where my middle fingers are placed, The controler is curved to create a ( for lack of better words) pocket. I wish I could take a pic of the two controllers from their sides to show the difference. You would see how the F-10 is more comfortable to hold and hold in place while your thumb abd fore fingers are quickly moving around, the pocket helps your middle fingers keep the controller in a steady position in your hand. I take hold of the xbox-s and it doesn't feel the same. My hands have less control over it while I move my fore fingers up to the LB and RB buttons especially. The PS3 controller is similar in shape to the F-10, if I remember correctly

Wonderful controller. It works well for the games that I use it with in Steam and emulators.
