Spent over 3x for a 10 bay hot swap case that had terrible airflow. Same drives in this new case and the HD temps are down on average 7-10deg.
Solid build, a basic 2u chassis, great value. Mounted just fine in my rack.
- Well built, much more rigid construction than i was expecting. - Easy to work in, lots of space to get your hands in there - If you don't want to use the internal fans (which use Molex) and switch to PWM, super easy to grab any 120s and drop them in the front, same with the 80s in the back. - Lots of room for cable management
Lots of space, well ventilated, light but sturdy.
Sturdy, well made, quiet, all the pieces were there.
Steel construction, removable cages, Chenbro quality. Great design. I love the way the back of this case is designed, it has a small 25mm overhang where the rear mobo shield goes, this allows for the 80mm rear fans to set back a little from the CPU cooler. Also there is a nice outtake (honeycomb) vent that sits over the PCI slots. When using this case with a top exaust graphics card (GTX 295) the hot air blows up and out. Brilliant!
Nice build quality, decent fit and finish, reasonable beveled edges. No sharp bits to get cut on.
Its great space inside for the price.
- Inexpensive, compared to other solutions - Includes the hardware for mounting drives and board
- Great for the price - USB 2 and 3 front headers - 5.25" device slot, very useful to add hot swappable drives
- All metal construction. Yes, even the front bezel. Not flimsy or thin either - a very sturdy case.- Comes with plenty of hardware to mount most boards- Compatible with generic cut-it-yourself I/O shields and a good few vendor ones- Room to mount 2x40mm fans of your choice- Great price point all things considered!
Many reviewers identified the lack of space in this case. Agreed, but this makes for a very compact and space-saving case in a server rack, which uses only 2U of space. The case is solidly built, has a modern look, comes with sufficient mounting materials. If you want to house a small-business, medium-sized server (for example, LAMP & OwnCloud) without too much processing requirements, this is the case for you.
- Solid build Quality, - Modular in front/rear facing PSU, - USB3 in Rack form! :D <3,
I had to seperately order the IO panel so it fit my motherboard. Your mileage may vary. Happy Thanksgiving!
Uses standard power supply. Room for extra fans. Plenty of room for hard drive storage. 3U build allows for aftermarket CPU cooler and/or video card.
