Fits perfectly in my 3u rack case. This psu is quiet and powerful. I thought the smaller size fans would be noisy and constantly spinning at high rpms. But no such thing. the high efficiency results in surprisingly cool and quiet operation. That's a plus because the computer is part of a video production switch and the quietness allows us to stay close to the action without hum being picked up by mics.

Was a quick install, plug in while machine running (hot-swap), connect power and away it goes!

- Build feels high quality, fans push a lot of air. - Fit perfectly in my Chenbro RM11704 1U Chassis - Powers 2 x Xeon E5-2670s with 256GB of DDR3 ECC, 4 hard drives, and an SSD without any issues. - This PSU stays cool, even after hours of usage. - Tons of cables.

Great power supply for a 1u case. Fits easily, very little noise compared to other server power supplies. Minimal power for my board, 2 ssd's running in 1u case 30 watts of power consumption. I could literally run this server on a cheap solar panel. LOL

I bought this in hopes that it would be a lot quieter than the 1200w PSUs that come with the 836 case. It is much quieter. The server probably is not much louder than a gaming tower now. I only have 1 PSU plugged in right now, I will order a second and report back if that makes a noticeable difference.
