It's a good PSU for the price and I liked the cable attachment options still have few cables that didn't use cause I didn't have other components to power.

I'm getting a new GPU and need the upgraded GPU for my new computer build. Easy to setup and connect to my motherboard without extra connections. If I upgrade my motherboard and need the other cables I have them if needed.

The cables that the PSU is packaged with are great, individually insulated and super flexible. Excellent for micro cases where cable management is limited.

850watts, has more juice than the old 650 which was struggling to keep up with everything I've added. ( water cooler, more memory, sound card, bigger video card, etc.. ) Modular plug style, comes with about every connector you will ever need. Easy to install.

- dual native 12v 2x6 connectors - bright colour tip 12v 2x6 600W cables - probably some of the nicest non-braided cables I've seen - Zero fan mode makes a pretty quiet PSU inaudible at low loads - Gamer aesthetics are subtle and of good taste - Efficiency curve is good for the vast majority of users - Semi-digital is cool I guess - Comes with a cable bag - Doesn't have RGB - No worries about MSI still being in business in 10 years to honour the warranty

The smaller Type 5 connections are nice, and the end-to-end Type 5 GPU power cable was awesome for a new build, since my card is also Type 5. No need to use an adapter.

Replaced my rm850e with the 1200 and it was plug and play in my HAVN mid town plenty of room and loved the sleeve for the cords. Super clean and runs a 5080 smoothly now
