Has all the tools you need for electronic soldering work in a neat little case. I used it to mount some surface-mount devices on a small PCB. I like the variable temperature dial on the iron, it seems to work, but I can't vouch for its accuracy; the best thing is to set it to the middle and work with it enough to get an idea of the dwell time needed (3-5 seconds is about right). Bigger parts need higher temps, SMD devices lower.

If you are frustrated while soldering, you probably need to have an iron with adjustable temperature. This iron responds immediately and works great.
