In USB Flash Drives

Large files a solid 500MBS w/no throttling for several 100GB written then a couple of modest stepdown but never got below 250MBS.

easy to use usb setup

This is the older type of USB drive and these units were higher quality than the more recent USB 3 type. I use these in time critical recording applications and it tested as best in class whereas most brands now fail the test entirely.

It is very small which is what I needed. I use it with my laptop so I needed something that wouldn't protrude very far and risk damaging my USB port. At most the flash drive protrudes about 0.5 inch. It has adequate capacity at 256GB. It does get warm as other reviewers have stated but I have never noticed it being extremely hot and while plugged in I notice no significant heat at all. If I remove the drive from the USB port right after heavy use then I do notice some heat but nothing serious and no more than any other flash drive I've used in the past. It is fast enough for my uses. I have done no formal performance testing but when using Windows Explorer to copy files between my SSD and this flash drive I average sequential read speeds of 30 MBs and sequential write speeds of 17 MBs. These numbers are achieved while doing transfers between my laptop SSD and the USB flash drive, note that my laptop SSD is not a high performance SSD so a high performance SSD could yield better performance. It simply seems to be a very solid quality device overall. I have zero complaints.

* It's small, so it takes up little space. * Type A and type C plugs mean you can use it with many different devices. * High-speed interface. * Has a loop, so you can attach it to a keychain or something.

huge size for such a small flash drive, much more compact than a hard drive or ssd

Small Easy to use Affordable Pretty good software

It does what it's supposed to.

Can't have to many thumb drives

Easy to setup and use. Metal case

Read/write speeds are good enough. Both units worked without problems. Factory formatted with exfat.

The little gap at the end is small enough that you can insert a keyring into it for easy transport and organization. I don't need hella space so this is a good option for something compact that doesn't break the bank. Works great for moving big files from my laptop to my tablet and vice-versa.

Tiny compared to almost all others. Works Fast and smooth. Fits great between those fat ones that are very hard to get one next to it, (big Plus for me) Little warm but seems fine, time will tell.

Small easy to carry, And has both input options, Love it.

Fast shipping, flash drives are attractive. Have used all but one, work great.
