0 coil whine, stayed at 46 deg C during Cyberpunk Benchmark with path tracing enabled and ray tracing set to ultra.
This thing is built like an Abrams tank. Once you have the drivers loaded it gives wicked fast frame rates for gaming at 1440p on my TUF gaming monitor. Less RGB actually makes it standout more in my PC case that already lit up like a Christmas tree. The TUF logos are everywhere in components in my case, which is also a TUF. Asus TUF is a great line and is only getting better with these Gforce 5000 series. Would I have liked to have had a RTX 5090? Sure, but they cost more than my entire PC build combined, so the RTX 5080 is a nice compromise. My frame rate has gone up four fold from my previous build.
Built a new computer utilizing high end components. Given the shortages and the price gouging, this was a pretty fair price. With tariffs on the horizon, this was a no brainer! This card is bulletproof, big, and made of high quality materials and in a sleek gunmetal color. I would make sure your case can support it before you purchase. I won't get into the numbers, depths, and specifics but this card meets my needs. I'm playing games from this year and the last three years getting 150+ FPS in 2K and 75 to 110+ in 4K in high/ultra settings. I'm not looking to live and play in 4D but this does amazing. I can't wait to play some of the new upcoming games this year with it. It also does great with rendering.
Plays a ton of games at 1440p maxed or almost maxed. The power draw isnt that high.
Quiet, yellow tips on cables, powerful, no coil whine.
All I love this card
Beast of a card Many benchmark reviews stay it's not much of an upgrade from my old 3080ti I've had for years. Well, it's a huge upgrade.
Runs great, temps run cool. Its a bit big so check your case size. Mine almost didnt fit. Great GPU, runs everything on max 1080p.
Immense joy
Pros: ✅ Beautiful white aesthetic without RGB. If it had RGB it would have been even better. ✅ Compact 2.2-slot design, great for SFF builds ✅ Good build quality ✅ Performs as expected for an RTX 5080
Robust Build and QUALITY! Best value when compared to the other OVER PRICED cards!
I get to keep my kidney :)
this thing is phenomenal. if you have a 4070 or 4070 ti or super im not sure if this is the upgrade your looking for but anything below that you will definitely see this as a decent to major upgrade. and for me its a major one for 1440p gaming.
Looks cool I like it
I use the graphics card for some video editing and streaming. I play some games, but have not fully tested it yet in that arena. I loaded a few just to see how well it worked on 2K monitors and it really did a great job. It can handle the rendering needs of Adobe premier.
Very quiet Runs cool Light weight 2 slot
Great product good fps
Runs very well! Can run both Pax Dei and KCD2 on highest or near highest settings at 2k Pax will be over 70 fps in open areas (no FSR in game currently) Kingdom Come deliverance 2 is consistently over 100 fps with max settings (and fsr 3.1 enabled) Keeps nice and cool during high loading. 56 C while it was pulling 316 W
Pros: Powerful, solid build quality, easy to install, quiet. Fans, barely audible. Water pump noise, inaudible. Aesthetics in person look 10x nicer than any photo can try and make it look. RGB placement and design on card are very well balanced and not overwhelming or too subtle. Meets all of my expectations for 60 FPS+ in 100% strictly native GPU settings.
