i ordered this product to keep the price down on a new pc build for my client, this cpu is way more than they needed to do the job that they wanted, worked perfectly, over all cost for this pc was around $500.00 and he was very happy with the end results.

my last PC was 10 years old 980x and still going fine, things around it that broke. This 10980XE should last 10 years also. These are cheap compared to some Xeon/AMD of this caliber.

Ok. It was time to upgrade from an i7 conroe....and it was either get a sandy bridge or wait a few weeks for the Ivy. SO glad i waited. after benching tests between a friend who has a 2700k, my processor is just faster hands down. It will overclock just as high, and outperform at lower clock speeds.

It's blazing fast. Running it at 4.1GHz, 1.25V and it's just a screamer. Might push it more, but this kind of performance is already unreal. If you want the world's best desktop processor, this is it.

I needed to upgrade from my 50th Annv. Ryzen 7 2700X (2nd Gen) since I had bought a new motherboard deaigned for Gen 3. What a difference this 3700X is. The former was 105 w, this is 65 w and runs so much cooler and is fast. 5 eggs on this chip.

This is replacing i7-3770S...and d### it, I hate to say it but this is light years ahead and better. That i7-3770S had put such a warm and loving place in my heart, I hate to see it go, but I needed Windows 11 and more performance....It was just that moment we hate to upgrade something that has been so dependable and never missed the job at hand, ...for over 10 years... but this little i3-12100 is just light years ahead of legacy technology and it's the passing of the torch.

Delivery was fast, in a good packaging. Put on a MSI PRO B660-A + 32 Gb DDR4 3200 : works great ! The included cooler was easy to install, and is quiet. Win10Pro, on a Crucial 480 Gb SSD starts like in seconds, it's fast. Overall, the I3-12100F performs great, running at 4.3 Ghz, it's rock'n'roll baby ! And I'm coming from an Intel I7-2600K, it's day and night.
