It's incredibly fast for my use and multi-thread is fantastic. I can render videos, run applications in the background, and browse at the same time and see no drop in performance! A better cooler is recommended but is not critically hot when running at max capacity. Efficient at 65w TDP CPU fan included.

-The snappiest chip ive ever used. What I mean by that is from gaming to simply opening a browser, everything seems instant. It is glorious -Price. The price is on the more expensive side though extremely worth it. -frequency and specs overall are outstanding and perform better than i could have ever imagined.

-Runs much cooler than previous x299 CPU iterations -Has much more overclocking headroom at lower voltages. -14 cores

This is replacing i7-3770S...and d### it, I hate to say it but this is light years ahead and better. That i7-3770S had put such a warm and loving place in my heart, I hate to see it go, but I needed Windows 11 and more performance....It was just that moment we hate to upgrade something that has been so dependable and never missed the job at hand, ...for over 10 years... but this little i3-12100 is just light years ahead of legacy technology and it's the passing of the torch.
