I had an fx 6300 at 4 ghz right before this... had to run battlefield 1 with a 1060 at low 70 resolution scale with drops to the 30's. Now I run high 100 res scale constant 60. It really blew my mind.

Unlock the power limits on your CPU and you're good. It's a very solid performer that will last years. With the new 12th gen, prices are (generally) going down on 11th gen. Look for a sale.
