Quiet light
- Works well, loud keys and responsive - Can use a custom coil cable and still connects to iCUE without issues - Easy access for the media controls
This keyboard is made with a simple idea in mind; Input faster than your opponent. A fly landing on your key could activate it. There is no sensitivity settings for you keys.
actually pretty good keyboard for the price
Woman reports keyboard is great! When on sale, good price
simple back lit plug and play. might be the best keyboard i have ever owned. recommended by another owner and im happy with my purchase. came in on time thank you New Egg.
This review is for the "Clicky" model. Rigid construction. Doesn't flex, bend or make any creaky noise. Just heavy enough to sit firmly on your lap without sliding around. Very useful if you're sitting on the sofa! Has light "clicky" sound when keys are pressed, but it's not loud or annoying. Back-light dims after being idle for several seconds, then turns off after a few more seconds. BUT, the keys still work, so you can start typing again without missing a letter, and the back-light comes on again the moment you press any key. You will quickly learn to appreciate this thoughtful design point. Battery life is good considering the back-lighting and all the tech built into this unit. I clocked it at approximately 18 hours of full back-lit gaming plus another 8.5 hours of full back-lit typing and internet before plugging it in to recharge. It was still working OK when i plugged it in to recharge. Works like any standard wireless keyboard with the included USB receiver/dongle, and also on Bluetooth. Conveniently placed buttons along the top of keyboard offer quick selection of either wireless connection or Bluetooth. The USB charging cable can also be used as a USB extender cable so you can place the USB receiver/dongle out in the open for best reception. Numerous lighting configurations are possible. You can create your own or freely download configurations made by other users. Logitech has set up a nice section on their website for the "G-Series" gaming stuff. Look for G-Series logo, not for general "Keyboards" section. Numerous key macros can be configured and saved for quick selection.
I've been typing on a Logitech K120 for years. I tried a gaming keyboard once and found it very noisy and annoying. I did not realize how many different key switches there are. I ordered the yellow switches. they have a light feel to them and while they are not silent they are not "clacky". They have a soft sound when you actuate them. For $60 this is a very nice keyboard. I wanted it wired because I need to keep it simple. The RGBs are interesting but unobtrusive and can be ignored for the most part. Function escape turns off the lights or back on.
-See title -Chroma with fun effects
The box came clean and nothing on it
-Color Oled Display -1600 Hours of battery life -Tons of customization -Godly Typing Feel -Aesthetic Design
Literally no stutters or lag while using the USB receiver (wireless) the clicks sounds stellar. I'd give it 10 eggs if I could.
Feeling and touching
1. No overkill on the flashy stuff like a lot of gaming keyboards nowadays. 2. Just a simple basic keyboard 3. Has RGB which is pretty neat 4. Has a built in wrist-rest which took some getting used to but now I love it.......as do my wrist and hands! 5. Has the look at feel of a true mechanical keyboard without being either. 6. Anti-ghosting which is nice if you play a Lock in WoW as you can faceroll the keyboard and have every key activate. 7. Mech-dome keys. Not membrane or mechanical keys. A little in between but they do feel like mechanical kinda? Which I guess was the entire point of this keyboard. So, good job Logitech! 7. Its spill resistant. Not to be confused with waterproof. You can spill some water or whatever and the keyboard should be ok. Just don't go swimming with it. 8. It's a really solid keyboard. Has hardly any flex at all. The wrist-rest really helps it with being solid. 9. It's just a simple keyboard. Nothing crazy or fancy. it fits my needs perfect as I didn't need or want all the bells and whistles you can get with a lot of the other gaming keyboards out there.
