I plugged in to a Raspberry Pi and it was instantly recognized. It comes with batteries, but probably shouldn't expect much from them, but it was nice that they were included and plastic protected till first use. The 2.4ghz receiver neatly stores in the bottom of the mouse when not in use. It has 3 user selectable DPI settings. Shipping(free) was by NewEgg, so the typical very fast shipping was provided.

Very sturdy. It is surviving my 6 year old and all the accidents that come with her. Just take it out and hose it off knock off the excess water and your good to go.
