I am building an updated computer for my wife (graphic artist) and wanted it to have maximum upgradability. The motherboard I purchased needed duo-motherboard power lines--pretty rare--so I had to get this one. What could have been a mess of unused power cords was fixed by being fully modular. If you sort through the options, you can maximize the unused cables and still hook up everything you need. The cost was not as much as expected, and given the flexibility, so it's a good deal.
