Was packaged very well. Feels solidly built. Cables, although not modular, are very high quality. The fan in the psu is very quiet. Cybernetics testing on the store page instills confidence.

The full modular design helps. Have yet to hear the fan or have an issue.

This new PSU design is a legitimate game changer! The side ports made building in my 5000D so much easier! I have twelve fans in this build along with several RGB controllers, etc. And not only was PSU cable connection a breeze, but I felt like I had much more room for excess cabling due to the setup. I personally also liked the new smaller connections for the attachments to the PSU.

- has all the connectors you need from the 12 pin nvidea connector to standard ones. -does psu things

It included the power cable for my GeForce 4090 GPU, so I didn't have to use the adapter and deal with those issues. Loved the connections on the side, worked perfectly with my Corsair 4000D Airflow case.

plenty of cables to hook up what you need. has a switch on the back to make the fan only turn on when its under load but i have that turned off and i dont hear the fan at all it is also very quiet.

Why did I pick this? I was looking for an A tier power supply. I have had Seasonic and Corsair PSUs before. Why buy expensive parts and cheap out on a power supply? The criteria were 80 plus gold, white, and top tier manufacturer. Yes, I could have saved $80 but chose not to. Make your choice and roll the dice

Smaller Form Factor Cables Appearance Included Cable Management

This review is for the ASRock review rebate program. * 10 year warranty * 90-92% efficiency * Modular * provides multiple twists and Velcro straps for managing cables

Im sure all brand name power supplys are dependable. I just like the results I have had over the years with Thermaltake. Have built quite a few systems and have never had a problem with any of them that was power supply related. Have no idea how many more systems I will build, but will never compromise when it comes to quality. A good rule of thumb is to stay with what works.

Everything is amazing

Nothing out of the ordinary, very standard look for a power supply. Completely black casing with no accents, which I'm a fan of. Cables look good for stock black rubber. Feels sufficiently heavy, and considering superflower's reputation, this should be an extremely reliable unit as long as loads remain under spec. Since this is non-modular, the abundance of cables it comes with makes cable management a hassle, but this isn't a con of the product. Modular or semi-mods cost more, and you have to keep the extra wires safe. That said, I still managed to barely fit this in a zalman t3 compact/plus with the hdd cage, which is an absolutely tiny case that rates this psu's length as the maximum size. They weren't joking. The back panel is screaming for help, but it holds without any cables getting unplugged, so credit to both superflower and zalman for great compatibility on opposite spectrums. This means that the wires should comfortably fit in any midtower with little to zero issues. PSU fan is inaudible over case fans. Haven't tested coil whine yet, but if you're using modern gpus that would cause this, you should be bumping up to psu wattage to 850 at least. It was packaged like a tank as well by superflower; definitely the most impact resistant packaging out of all the heavy parts I just ordered.

Comes with braided cables, which are slightly better than the normal black cables. Has a 5V power boost along with the switch for the iCool for smart fan control. It does not make clicking sounds when booting up or powering off.

- Well this actually was needed to upgrade my psu in another PC more wattage so it actually was a good deal and worth the combo. - Had no problems at all cable management was awesome neat gave my 0 issues - performance well going form 850w to 1000w you tell me yes more than enough power than struggling with 850w.

Great power supply with no issues whatsoever runs very quiet fan runs high on boot up for a fan test thats normal would definitely recommend this power supply from asrock
