Used it and the power soft software to prove that the power company needed to replace the transformer that was going bad for a number of years.
Fast, well constructed, easy to use, just like any other quality switch I have owned (I have at least 6 1G ones in my house). Hopefully the power plug holds up, that's really the only weak point on the 1G switches.
Packaged great and DVD is spotless and worked perfectly.
All the features you could ever want. Has sensors for days! HTML5 WebUI for Remote Console to your OS!
Have three of these switches - all seem to be perfectly stable (in service about a year and a half now), and Netgear seems to do a decent job keeping up with firmware updates for it (have fixed a couple of critical security vulnerabilities and at least currently my Greenbone Security Assistant setup is happy with them). Dual firmware image slots, and the ability to use it totally offline with no cloud garbage enabled, SSH access, and even the web interface is decently speedy. It's pretty much all you can ask for in a small, passively cooled, smart gigabit switch.
-Whisper quite -Many Features -Web GUI or phone app to manage it -You have to know what your doing or at least read the manual.
Silent and cool with plenty of room for power requirements with my PoE network cameras.
The LSI-9305 required no setup. Merely plug it in, connect the SAS cables to the backplane and poof, done. This card supports 3.0 and 6.0 gb/s hard drives and SSD's
